At around $45 for a well made, reasonably well fitting, zip up 100% cotton hoodie, this is quite a decent deal. I've gotten away from cheaper cotton/poly blends due to pilling. I hate pilling. Nice design touches: good zipper, a round drawstring with metal tips and metal eyelets. I also like the fabric, which is good for fall weather but not heavy enough for cold. The hoodie is a bit longer as compared with say, the Calvin Klein offering, which I slightly prefer. My quibble is with the boring color selection. Not terrible but not inspiring. I got the forest green which is somewhat dull and lifeless. This is of course subjective and If you like one of colors then this is a good choice. ... show more

It's a fine garment but premium heavyweight fleece has a fabric weight of 400 GSM or approx 12 ounces/square yard. This is not that. It is of medium weight, it is all cotton & brushed inside such that is feels soft. It also has a quality zipper made by YKK. It's a Vislon zipper that should last a long time but because of the molding process is does bunch up some in the chest area when you sit down ie., it's not as flexible as a standard coiled zipper would be in that regard. Sizing is a little snug through the waist area (compared to others I own) so I will not be putting it in the dryer. The hood seems enormous, almost cartoon/fantasy sized but so far nobody has mentioned it to me but I do feel there is a little extra material there such that is does not lie flat when not pulled up over the head. Anyway I deducted 1 star off my rating due to the factors listed above. ... show more

Bought this for my husband and he loves it! The weight and thickness are perfect. Was very happy to find an organic cotton hoodie. The color is great, a nice dark, almost black green. Quality of sewing and zipper, very good!

I love the weight and comfort of this sweatshirt, but after the first wash and only a 20 minute tumble dry, the sleeves shrunk at least 2 inches and the light weight zipper channel has curled and doesn’t lay flat! Not great for the price!
