I bought this French Toast plaid pleated skirt for my daughter for the school year, and overall, we're quite pleased with it. The plaid pattern is classic and looks exactly as pictured. The pleats hold up well after washing, and they give the skirt a nice structure without being too stiff. The adjustable waistband is a great feature, allowing us to get a perfect fit. This is especially useful as my daughter tends to grow throughout the year. The skirt sits comfortably at her waist and doesn't slide down, which is a relief. The material is a good quality polyester blend that feels durable and doesn't wrinkle easily. It's also easy to care for, which is a big plus for busy parents. The length is appropriate for school dress codes, hitting just above the knee. The reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is that I wish the fabric had a bit more softness to it. So this was a gamble. I wanted a cute plaid skirt that became close enough to my knees. What I really wanted was a but they’re so expensive so I tried this First of all a child size is very different from adult obviously. But I ordered the largest size that would fit me. It didn’t. I wasn’t brokenhearted because I felt it was really just kind of too polyester not necessarily cheap fabric because it’s probably very durable for school kids, but it just wasn’t very chic. Experiment a failure. I highly recommend this for school girls or boys😉
