I pulled the trigger and purchased theese after spending a couple days looking at other hiking boots I needed for work and fishing. These boots are true to their description. I went hiking and it started to pour rain. The only thing on me that stayed completly dry was my feet as i had hiked through muddy and rocky terrain. Great support and really comfortable. I have wide feet and these fit perfect without looking like a big box toe shoe. Been putting miles a day on these boots for last couple weeks and they are holding up way better than I expexted. Ive boughten multiple high in brands like Merril, OC, Salomons and others and these are just as good if not better for fraction of the price. You cant get a better shoe at this price range. More color options would be nice but the brown ones I got look better than pictured on here. Highly recomend purchasing these. I'm very particular when it comes to comfort and quality boots/shoes. On a whim I bought a pair for a Japan Trip because my Docs and Timberlands have some wear and tear and have been hurting my feet. These boots are not heavy, very water resistant as I walked through rain and snow. Lastly they fit fairly well. I walked 200,000+ steps in 17 days on all kinds of terrain. These boots are comfortable and fit true to size, there lightweight and look durable but sadly they aren’t. I’ve been wearing mine simply to work each day (roughly have had them for 2 weeks) and one of the metal lace hooks broke off, so the quality and durability aren’t there. These are great. I walk a ways to work and these are very comfortable. I haven't stepped into a puddle, but I did walk home in the rain and my feet did not get wet. Good traction. They look nice as well. Sometimes I wear them when I would usually wear tennis shoes. Very versatile.

Had to use shoe stretchers to make them wide enough but now they fit. They do work decent for mountain biking since they have a flat sole, and I like the looks of them.

They're definitely comfortable and a perfect fit. I've walked through 2" deep water with no issues. If they last at least a year I'll be happy because I've bought some costing twice as much that barely made it through a year.
