It ties shut on either side, so as long as you can fit your head through the hole, you can fit in this; that said the "leather" on the front is faux & very thin - offering negligible protection even from LARP weapons. It also doesn't breathe, so it gets very hot, very quickly in this armor - the cloth soaks up any moisture it gets exposed to, so it doesn't take long for it to start feeling all sticky & gross. Lastly, the bracers that cone with are of middling quality at best; it didn't even take a day for one of the rivets to pop (fortunately the leather didn't tear so they were still usable). Still, it fits & looks decent at a distance, so it's worth the money, imo. ... show more

The green looks nothing like the picture. It is BRIGHT. I ended up painting over the green to get more of a hunter green color. Buying the black probably would have been a better idea to save the extra labor. Yes, this is cheap quality. But it works as a costume. I knew it was going to be low quality because the price is cheap. This will work great as a costume that is only worn a couple times a year. The outfit itself was a great hit at our Halloween party where my husband made an appearance as “Level 3 Adventurer”. Unfortunately the bracers were a pain to try to have sit on his arms comfortably without moving around. We ended up giving up on the bracers. Other than that we liked the costume!
