  • Best Warm Night Ever
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
This is by far the best sleeping bag I've ever had. I'm 5' 11" but I still got the long just for the extra room. Pros: - It packs down to about 5 liters - It very warm - Has a large footbox - Has zippers on both sides - My pillow stays put Cons: - Could be a little wider - It comes with a super large bag (not sure why, maybe for drying the bag - It also comes with a stuff sack but I replaced it with a compression sack instead ... show more

  • Best Sleeping Bag I’ve Ever Owned
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
In the box you get the Marmot sleeping bag, a stuff sack, and an expansion sack. The expansion sack is a much larger mesh bag, and is used to let the down filling rest in a relaxed state. That way the down will retain its insulating properties, and not get permanently mashed flat. The stuff sack is to be used to compress the sleeping bag for when you put it in your pack. I have owned many sleeping bags, starting with flannel rectangular bags when I was a kid, to the newer mummy bags with down filling like this one. Each one has gotten better and better and this one so far is the king. The sleeping bag is rated to 15 degrees fahrenheit, which means that you can confidently sleep in that bag at that temperature. There are other factors that weigh in, such as the quality of your sleeping pad and the condition of the clothing that you wear, but the rating gives you a good idea of the bag’s capabilities. I have taken this bag camping one time so far. When I went to bed, the temperature was in the high 40’s, and I was comfortable in the bag wearing only a base layer. When I woke up it was 38 degrees, and I was cozy and warm all night long. I was also using an inflatable sleeping pad with a good R value. This sleeping bag also has a few bonus features. Even though it is a mummy bag, the foot box unzips, giving it a more rectangular shape. While in this setting, two people (who are very comfortable with each other) could fit in it, although they would be wedged together side by side. It also gives one person more freedom of space inside the bag. There is also a small zippered pouch which is just above your belly in the bag to keep your personal items in. I thought this would be great for my phone, but found that it just barely fit, and the weight of it was uncomfortable against my stomach, so I took it out and put it in the tent pocket instead. The bag has a non-traditional set of side zippers that only go halfway down. You have to pull your legs out to exit the bag. I did not mind this feature, but some might find it inconvenient. Overall, I am very happy with this bag. Since it is rated at 15 degrees, it will work for basically every camping trip that I will want to take, as I don’t want to go when it is colder than that. It is easy to vent at the top, and also easy to cinch the hood tight around your head. I am excited to own it, and award it 5 stars. ... show more

  • Needs a better zipper

Hard to get out of since zipper only goes half way

  • Awesome sleeping bag!
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
This bag is utterly awesome, and does a swell job keeping me warm on rather cold nights (10 F). I particularly appreciate the full accompanying accessories, including a compact bag to store when hiking in a compact fashion, as well as a webbed/net bag to store when you're home and putting it away in storage - this does wonders, allowing the bag to breathe and not hold moisture. Marmot is a brand well known for quality, and this bag is no exception. I would recommend this sleeping bag to anyone looking for a cozy bag for general use, or someone looking to spare no expense while hiking in the woods and sleeping in the rough. Bravo Marmot! ... show more

  • Worked great!
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
My husband tried the Men's MARMOT Sawtooth sleeping bag in Dark Azure/Foliage in size long. My husband is 6'2" and 170 pounds--the sleeping bag was a great size. He really liked how the bottom has the option to get wider at the bottom. He also mentioned that the zippers worked well (no snag issues).

  • Pretty nice but coloring
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
I can see there are other color selections but there wasn't a way to select any other color. I like the blue one except for the pointless green/orange stripes. Also, the green insides are weird. It's like 1990s horrible color combinations. The other color combinations are even worse. Guess you'll get found if you are in the wilderness. This is the most expensive sleeping bag I've ever seen although I do have one for $20 that is rated to 30F. How much colder is 15 more F? I think the sizing options are AMAZING: long, long x-wild, Doublewide. I never see sleeping bags that actually fit people. I'm lucky at 5'9". Other people have to have the sleeping bags end at your waist. =I love the open feet option for being too hot. I've never seen that =The little hole to stick your face out is hilarious. =Being able to stick out just your arms is funny. =I like the internal pocket. Although I don't like things hitting me in my pockets or resting against me. The con being the price but if you can afford it... I'd at least like a better color combo. ... show more

  • light weight and compactable
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
I have had a lot of sleeping bags over the years and many of them were bulky and heavy. The Marmot Sawtooth bag though is both light weight and very compactable. It came in a loose mesh bag, but also includes a compression sack would make it take up way less room. The zipper at the bottom allows for a roomier sleep or can be zipped to keep the warmth in. I have taken this out camping once and stayed warm through the night. ... show more

  • A fine sleeping bag...
Color: Dark Azure/Foliage Size: Long
We own lots of sleeping bags. We like to camp and we have grandchildren who like camping with us, so we have probably 10-12 sleeping bags, including a few made with down like this bag. This is a beautiful sleeping bag, thoughtfully made with good zippers and the ability to have ventilation on those nights when the bag's insulation is overkill. Most of my camping is done in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and this is the perfect bag for early and late season travel in the BWCA. It's warm enough for May and September when a summer bag may not be sufficient, and will extend usefully into October and even November. Made of 650 fill down, this isn't the fanciest down bag out there but it's warm and the fill is advertised as moisture resistant. The bag has a good hood for cold nights. The "long" bag which I got fits me with room to spare (at 6'1") and the foot end is more accommodating than many of my mummy bags. Overall, this is a great bag at a good price from Marmot. ... show more
