So the first issue is, the insoles are super thin. If you’ve ever bought those foam insoles at a grocery store - Dr. Sholls, Odor Eaters, etc. - they’re about that thin. That’s fine, because I was planning to replace them anyway with orthotic insoles for good arch support (I’ve been happy with Walk Hero brand), but the problem is, because the included insoles are so thin, when you replace them with something thicker, it means the whole shoe is now half a size too small. You’ll probably be OK if you order half a size up - I didn’t do that, so I can’t confirm. I managed to get my feet into them by wearing only very thin socks, but even with the good insoles, I was having some issues with comfort. But the larger problem is, one of the shoes completely fell apart, four days outside of Amazon’s return window. See photos. That was a surprise. I happened to have a roll of gaffer’s tape with me, and was able to tape the heel back on until I made it home, but I cannot recommend these shoes, even for such a low price. ... show more

I did order a size down (I'm a 10w or a 10.5, but a 10 was just about right, if not a little too big). They look good and are pretty comfortable. Nice set of 'winter' boots for the short winters we get here. I'm pleased and impressed for the dollar.

These are definitely cheap, but if you don’t mind some uncomfortableness and cosmetic defects they will keep you dry and protected from the snow. The back loops pulled off after a few weeks and the back of the shoe is extremely stiff against your Achilles tendon area despite more than a month of regular wear. All that said they do keep me dry and at the price are honestly better than expected. These deal with northern Maine winters. They’re not very warm, but add some warm socks and you’re fine. The media could not be loaded. I purchased these three years ago. I have hiked hundreds of miles in them in various climates and now have had to retire them to yard work boots due to the soles starting to break down. They are the BEST boots I’ve ever owned and have long exceeded any shoe I’ve owned. Excellent ankle support. Perfect for the trails. Holds up to the cold and moisture (not waterproof but recovers well) and does not scuff. Soles thick but flexible. ... show more

    • Very Nice Boot But The Sole Fell Off
The boot is made ok. The the instep in narrow. I can put them on and they are comfortable when on, but getting them needs a shoe horn. Not bad enough to return but if you have a high instep do not purchase this boot. After wearing for 3 months the entire sole fell off the shoe. This happened when I was taking the shoe off so it was not due to any type of hard usuage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ... show more
