The boot is made ok. The the instep in narrow. I can put them on and they are comfortable when on, but getting them needs a shoe horn. Not bad enough to return but if you have a high instep do not purchase this boot. After wearing for 3 months the entire sole fell off the shoe. This happened when I was taking the shoe off so it was not due to any type of hard usuage. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these three years ago. I have hiked hundreds of miles in them in various climates and now have had to retire them to yard work boots due to the soles starting to break down. They are the BEST boots I’ve ever owned and have long exceeded any shoe I’ve owned. Excellent ankle support. Perfect for the trails. Holds up to the cold and moisture (not waterproof but recovers well) and does not scuff. Soles thick but flexible.

I did order a size down (I'm a 10w or a 10.5, but a 10 was just about right, if not a little too big). They look good and are pretty comfortable. Nice set of 'winter' boots for the short winters we get here. I'm pleased and impressed for the dollar.

These are definitely cheap, but if you don’t mind some uncomfortableness and cosmetic defects they will keep you dry and protected from the snow. The back loops pulled off after a few weeks and the back of the shoe is extremely stiff against your Achilles tendon area despite more than a month of regular wear. All that said they do keep me dry and at the price are honestly better than expected. These deal with northern Maine winters. They’re not very warm, but add some warm socks and you’re fine. Go a half size up, they’re tight.

They fit nice and are well constructed. I have went so far as to check when it is raining so I don't get them wet and wear my other shoes instead. The laces are strong and the ties at the top are in just the right place to make it comfortable on your ankle when you sure it up. I'll likely buy another pair when the ones I am wearing get old.

Unfortunately, this boot is garbage! I purchased two pairs, and neither of them lasted longer than a few hours before the soles fell off. The seller charged me a restocking fee for one of the pairs because it was beyond the 30 days, but the UPS shipping was free. A better seller would have advised me to simply throw them away instead of going through the hassle of sending them back, only for them to be discarded anyway. You can clearly see that the tread doesn't have any wear on it.
