I am blown away at the quality of this jacket. The workmanship, quality of the real leather, style and fit are all well beyond my expectations at this price point. I have spent close to $500 on other leather bike jackets and this one is at least as good if not better than more expensive jackets. The style is exactly what I wanted with no branding and a minimalist european style. However, this jacket would work well with the sport bike crowd or cruiser crowd. It really fits in anywhere on two wheels. Zippers and buttons are high quality and the pockets, of which there are many, have sturdy linersIn addition this jacket has many motorcycle specific features that get omitted on other jackets at this price point. For example it has CE rated armor in the back, elbows and shoulders, a variety of venting zippers to maintain comfortable temperature and adjustable straps when you need more room after layering for cold weather. Like most jackets of this type there is a removeble "thermal" liner. These liners are useless in my opinion, they make little difference to the warmth of the jacket. And besides you buy leather for motorcycling for protection and minimizing wind/rain intrusion. If you regularly ride in very cold temperatures you will want to opt for something built for that environment. No leather jacket by itself will allow you to ride comfortably in temps under 40 degrees in my view. I put some leather conditioner on it and water repellant as I do with all my leather and it only improved the look and suppleness of the material. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this jacket. I cannot find a single negative aspect about it and am very satisfied that I found it and made the purchase. ... show more

I’m usually between a Large and XL but I’m a 3x in this jacket. It has ample room in the chest and shoulders for me despite being a bit large around the belly but not uncomfortably so. Quality appears to be nice especially for the cost. It wasn’t extremely stiff like other leather jackets I’ve tried. Overall I’m very pleased for the price point. Only thing that surprised me is that it only fit a size Small back protector which seems odd for a 3x jacket, but whatever. ... show more

Order a size up. Beautiful! I can't believe the quality at this price point...maybe cause it's summer but anywhoo I love it. I have my c2 armor in place and still have room to move.

Very kind and respectful in customer service. I ordered a leather jacket for my eldest grandson. It came in and he loved it. Unfortunately, we had ordered just a little too small. Zack, at Born to Race helped me with the exchange process. Got it taken care of within minutes. He was very patient with me and answered questions in a way that gave me additional comfort, knowing I bought the right jacket from the right company. A company thats standards are unheard of in this day and age, as they actually stood behind their product (knowing that quality and workmanship are excellent) and at the same time not losing site of me, the customer. First, I love the style. It looks fantastic. The style is choice. Second The quality is top notch. Thick cowhide leather, not the thin stuff, but it's not to stiff, Very flexible. The size runs small. I am 5'9, 210 lbs. I wear a 1XL in shirts. I have other leather coats they are 2XL and they are tite with a hoodie underneath. Id call it a bit tight for the size. Other than that I put it on and rode down to the grocery store to pick up some beer. I was checking out and the girl at the checkout said " I love your jacket". Thats it right there.

This jacket is made very well. The leather was thick, but not overly stiff and the tanning is done well. I really feels substantial. I also like the styling, which is a primary reason i ordered it. Unfortunately, the fit didn't work for me. I am 5'10 and 165lbs with an athletic build and I found it too broad in the shoulders and biceps, too short at the waist and the arms a bit too long. This is a bummer as I really like the styling and the thick quality leather would probably be very helpful while riding on cooler mornings and days. ... show more
