I bought these trekking shoes because I needed something comfortable for our family walks in the park and for easier hiking trails. They are fantastic. The breathable mesh design is the best part. My feet stay cool and dry, even after we walk for a long time. They feel very light, not heavy and clunky like old hiking boots. The rubber outsole has strong traction, so I feel stable and safe when we are walking on gravel or uneven paths. Nice looking. Very good pice for a pair of shoes. I put a little better insole in these. They are a little stiff and not wide enough for my liking. That said for the price not bad.

Got tired of paying $150 for name brand hiking shoes so I decided to give these a try. Went on the “test hike” the other day (3 mi.) and I was very surprised. Fit is good and they are comfortable. Excellent grip; tried to make them slip on large rocks and couldn’t! Big thumbs up!!

I didn’t expect much, but these shoes really delivered. They’re comfortable from day one, breathable, and light enough for long walks without making my feet feel tired. The grip is solid on trails and sidewalks, and they feel stable without being bulky. I’ve worn them hiking, walking around town, and for everyday errands, and they’ve handled everything well.     • Nortive8 hiking boots!!!
Nortiv8 hiking boots are lightweight, waterproof and have good traction on all surfaces, wet or dry. Crossed streams (ankle-high) and stayed dry. Well ventilated, worn for days without sweaty feet. These Nortive8 hiking boots out-performed many other more expensive boots by major manufacturers! Truly a good boot for a great price and I have already bought another pair.. and looking at other styles from Nortive8. This first pair shows minimal wear wear after 40 or 50 miles of Texas hardpan and rock. Extremely pleased with this purchase! I've gone through many hiking boots over the years looking for comfort and lightweight, but these have a wide toe box that is perfect for me. The lacing system is a bit unusual, captured (laces are threaded through oval-shaped metal, rather than the more traditional open faced ones) soft round laces up past the ankle. Difficult at first to lace up, but after awhile I have grown to really like them once you get the knack. Grab a pair (or two) before the price goes up!! ... show more

Absolutely amazing and the price was perfect! Highly recommend if you’re looking to buy a very decent pair of shoes. These look more like men’s not women’s. I bought for my grandson and he said they feel amazing in his feet.
