These weightlifting shoes are really good quality and look great. They’re breathable and lightweight. I’ve found them to be much better than regular tennis shoes for weightlifting. Don’t let the 4/5 stars deter you, it’s more like a 4.9/5! I’ve used these on runs, jumping rope, lifting and for calisthenics sessions with no issues! I can’t speak for the long term yet but initial impressions are solid and at this price I’m not scared of putting holes in them and buying another pair. The quality is fantastic compared to some of my $200+ options from other major brands. For anyone out there who wants the true ground feel (no insert or cushion or padding) know that the light foam inserts are removable! That was a huge plus for me since I’ve been training for 2 years now without anything inside my shoes and non-removable padding of any material is a deal breaker for me. Also great is that it fit with my toe socks and spacers on, I’ve had some other “wide toe box” shoes that couldn’t fit the added space the spacers take up. Didn’t have that issue here, it’s a great fit with or without the extras. Why the .1 point reduction? Because day 1-3 there was a break in period for the part of the shoe that makes contact with the top of your foot where it transitions into the rest of your leg. That part was hugging me too tightly and causing some discomfort. It’s mostly gone away now but still something to point out. ... show more

These are my favorite shoes to wear. I get a ton of compliments. They're super comfortable for walking and for traveling in an airplane. They look amazing with many different types of outfits. People frequently comment on them: "Where did you get these? What brand is that?" I don't wear them because people comment on them. I'm just letting you know that people like the way they look. I have serious issue finding shoes that fit my foot (many shoes are just too narrow in the mid foot and feel like they’re jamming into my arch, or just overall uncomfortable). I’ve tried about all the shoes that exist (barefoot too), and these are maybe the only ones I’ve ever liked so immediately. The sock-like upper felt a little weird at first, but after one hike it now feels amazing (totally just holds your foot in place and makes the shoe feel like an extension of your foot, not something extra)! You can wear these both with or without the insole which is nice, but even with you can still totally feel every rock and groove of the street which I love when hiking (it’s like a massage!). I’ve taken these now on hikes and road runs, and they work great. 10/10 comfort ... show more

I really like these. They're quite comfortable; love the sock liner. I also like the fact that you can remove the insoles. These also work well with a little adhesive gel arch support I like to use.
