My dog recently became disabled and she has a hard time getting on her doggy bed and I needed something that would cushion her back legs when she’s laying down on the floor to prevent pressure sores. She really likes it and uses it all of the time. I know this isn’t the stated use but it seems to be working for her since she has not developed any sores in the time we’ve been using this mat. (Over 8 months now) I’ll try to see if there are longer ones because she sometimes only manages to get her front elbows on there which defeats the purpose.
