Update: I returned the first couch and reordered and the new one was fully inflated in 12 hours. Love it! Looks just like the pictures, even stands up like the picture for a puppet show (which is still pretty ridiculous because as soon as it was touched it would fall back over 😂). Still don't care for the zippers and worried about the fabric giving out and ripping where the top and bottom are connected. I'm sure it's just a matter of time, hopefully I'll be able to mend it when it happens. My kid absolutely loves it though and I can sit on it without crushing it. I thought this kid couch was so cool but it turned out to be a bit of a let down. It has been over a week and the foam has fluffed up but it still isn't full like the listing pictures. The foam isn't tall enough to fit the cover so it's tight around the zipper and baggy on the tops and buttoms. One side is thicker than the other, the seat pad is bowed, and when I took the cover off thinking it might help it inflate it looked used. It had a big square shape of discoloration like it had been sittng in the sun for a long time with something sitting on top of it. Since the cover is so loose that the top and bottom parts are unsturdy and slide around, I wouldn't be surprised if the material ripped at that point with a kid playing on it. Once I did let my 18 month old play on it the zippers slowly opened slightly, they're not very tight and there's no slot for them to be tucked in. Oh and the puppet show idea is ridiculous because the foam is so bowed all over that it DOES NOT stand up. I'm so disappointed because I had such high hopes for this thing, especially for the price. The material is soft but thin, however the stars do glow well. I might try to order a replacement but returning it now that it doesn't fit in the box would be tough. ... show more

I was worried when I didn’t open the box up ahead of time for it to “grow” to its normal size but I sat it in front of a heater and by the time we got up Christmas morning it was ready!! I would recommend this for sure. I was surprised how firm this play couch was. For a kids building and play couch it was worth the cost of around $90. I don’t think I’d buy this design again for over $100. At the time there was a promotion going on. The main part that folds to make the couch armrest and back rest started to pull apart after owning it for about a month. Thankfully the pieces are individually sewn so as this started to happen I just took a seam ripper and took it off so the fabric wouldn’t get further damaged. Now the pieces are just 4 individual parts that we actually like better. Others mentioned a bad smell and yes there is a bad odor to the product. I took the covers off washed gentle line dried and they went back on with some effort. No joke give yourself a good 45 min to really get the covers back on. Just take your time so you are not ripping your zippers because you are rushing. The fabric didn’t shed as bad as some reviews said either. It wipes clean so easy too for that I’m not as anxious when kids are having snacks or popsicles on it. We let the foam pieces air out for days. In our closet initially because it was a gift we wanted ready but the smell was overwhelming in our walk in closet. then we even let it sit outside in the sunlight to air out on and off for a few days. Overall with some grunt work of airing out and washing I give it 4 stars. We plan to purchase their other larger style for Christmas as an alternative to the nugget or Sam’s club play couch. ... show more
