So far I love this grow tent. I didn't know I needed it when I got my Hydro Garden tower, then I saw how bright thise grow lights are in a dark room and the need became obvious. This tent is the perfect size for the space I wanted to place it, It is big enough to house my tower and one or two small pots. It was easy/pretty straight forward to put together. (No help or tools needed) I haven't hung grow lights yet because I haven't needed to since my hydro tower came with the LED grow lights on all for sides, but the included support/hang bars at the top are a nice option to have. There are plenty of openings for fans, cords etc. while still keeping the light and sound contained. I am looking forward to starting my seedlings indoors in my grow tower before transplanting to the outside garden beds, but I am enjoying being able to try my hand at growing something from seed to harvest indoors without having to transpalnt to outside. The little viewing window is also a plus so I can check on my plants without having to open/unzip the main openinig. Oh, yea, the material is thick and sturdy and heavy weight. Not plastic or thin/cheap at all. The zipper is pretty tough as well and though it does not slide as easily as I would like it doesn't appear ready to tear if I have to tug on it a liitle either. I did add a fan to the top for good air circulation when the door is closed but I didn't need the accordian type vent tube and my fan placement was still simple and easy to accomplish.

I like how this tent is pretty inexpensive. It certainly is not the quality of vivosun. The fabric is thinner, the zippers are a little finicky. The clear viewing port is good for visual only (if you like to take pictures of your grow this is important). This is perfect if you are growing an auto flower. I bought it as a drying tent with an inline duct and fan (which cost more than the tent itself) Construction seems adequate. It took me about 45 minutes from unboxing to complete assembly. Interlocking poles were clearly labeled. Corners are press fit plastic type. The poles are smaller diameter and appear to be about 3/4 of an inch in thickness. It did fully support the weight of a 1200 watt grow light that had to weigh around 30 to 35 pounds. It also came with two cross member poles that can be positioned at the top of the tent to provide mounting support for lights and other accessories like fans and filters. There is one access port on the top, back and sides. If I were looking for a small tent for a small grow of 1 plant, this would be a good choice, economical and i would recommend. I did not check for light leaks but did notice some light coming from around the velcroed viewing and ventilation ports..

Easy assembly, Quality construction, only wish it had a 4" opening on both sides of lower tent area to help with cross ventilation of fresh air intake to exhaust out take which is on the same side as existing lower opening .

Bought for filament 3D printing. I haven't messed with this tent too much but it feels nearly perfect for the price. Pros: * Very easy to assemble * Cheap * Has several different-sized holes for different duct sizes Cons: * Slightly smaller than advertised. I've never measured a grow tent so idk if this is common, but the 48x48x80 measures more like 47x47x77.5. was kinda disappointed about that (mostly because of lost base size) but again for the price it's negligible. * Construction. I haven't hung up my filter or fan yet but we'll see how it holds. If there's no update here then it worked fine. The poles are kinda thin for such a tall tent, but again for the price it's impressive imo. * No inside zippers. I'm using this for filament printing and am not going to use harsh filaments anytime soon, so it's not super important that I zip up inside. Still, it would be nice to have zippers inside for something so tall that I'll be inside. For like $40-$80 more you could get a tent that's much higher quality. For someone like me who purchased a bunch of equipment at once and is trying to cut some costs, this one was exactly what I was looking for.

I was expecting a product with all the components needed to construct a square grow tent. What I ended up with was a semi-complete rhombus. The package was missing at least one pole, and somehow I received 8 of one type, 7 of another, 5 of a third, 2 hanging white poles, a Velcro strip, a reflective mat, and some of the most horribly illustrated, unclear instructions I have ever seen. We still haven’t figured out what “Item 5” on the instruction sheet is supposed to be, but that’s irrelevant since nothing in the box even resembles it. LOL. At this point, the grow tent is less of a gardening product and more of a geometry challenge. What a joke. I must remember: inexpensive and cheap are not interchangeable.

I needed a small auxiliary grow tent for flowering males and reversed females for the sake of harvesting pollen so I can create my own seeds. This is exactly the size I needed, it was very affordable, it was easy to assemble, and it arrived on time. While not an expensive product, I don't immediately see any clear signs of likely light leaks, which is much more than I can say for other cheap tents I've bought in the past. I just put a nice Hashberry male in there which has been preflowering for about a week. Now I can finally let it do its thing for real while I use my larger tent to continue getting some ladies ready for flowering. I feel like this was a small price to pay for something which will help me become more self-sufficient as a home grower. I'm an amateur and don't need a ton of space for flowering males. If I ever need to flower a tall sativa male I might need to use my regular grow tent for that, but for my most frequently anticipated needs I believe this will be ideal. This size would also likely be excellent for those seeking to grow a single larger female or two, depending on technique and the strain in question. 4' high would probably not be great for a very tall variety, though some may still be manageable if they respond well to training and topping to control height.

I have two of these MelonFarm 2x2 tents, one 3ft and one 6ft. I bought the 3ft tent for raising seedlings and clones, and the 6’ tent for vegging and flowering. The construction of the tent itself isn’t terrible. The frame is sturdy, and as long as you are following the directions correctly, getting the tent over the frame wasn’t too hard. These tents are great if all you’re using it for is raising seedlings, propagating clones, and vegging. If you have a separate tent that you plan on using for the Flower phase, then this tent will serve your purposes. However, it is extremely important to bear in mind that in this product’s case, you get what you pay for. Cheap price equals cheap construction. I had light leaks before even one full run was complete. For starters, it is an industry start to have flaps on both the inside and outside of the zipper to prevent light leakage. This is not the case with the MelonFarm tents. It has a flap on the inside, but not on the outside, and the flaps themselves are not made of quality material. If you are not precise about how you zip up, the flaps will not cover the inside seam of the zipper and will allow light to leak in and out of the tent. The durability of the tent is poor. There are no protective or insulated layers between the tent canvas and the thin sheet of “Mylar” on the interior. If you run your tents in a garage or shed where environmental changes can be a little more dynamic, your inline exhaust fans will be running at 100 for a good deal of the time to keep things steady. My oscillating fans rubbed right through the “Mylar” film and I had to consistently use reflective duct tape to patch these spots as they caused light leakage. My biggest qualm with this tent is the window. The seams and stitching are of very poor quality. In higher quality premium tents, the Velcro is very thick and has flaps that cover the seams. In these tents they are thin with no flaps. Light leaks in and out through the Velcro. I had to put duct tape on both the inside and outside to prevent leaks. In good conscience I couldn’t rate this tent less than a 3/5⭐️ because it really is a great little tent if all you’re doing is raising seedlings, clones, for vegging only, or for plants that are not as sensitive to minor light issues like peppers, tomatoes, autoflowers, etc. But since I have to retire my 2x4 after only a single grow, I do not recommend using for flowering. I know times are hard and there are a lot of us balling on a budget, but two of the things you shouldn’t cut costs on when growing is lights and tents. Save up for a mid tier tent like a Vivosun or Mars Hydro tent, you will be grateful in the long run. Happy growing 😎✌🏼
