I have a four poster bed that the wooden slats kept slipping out. This item is perfect. Measurement's are exact, it was easy to put together and it works. I had no idea there was something like this. This was for a full size bed. It sits right on top of the lip that the wood slats go on and the center bar gives great support. The metal bars are hollow but they are strong. Just make sure you measure perfectly. I have a box spring and mattress and the box spring fits perfectly. Although it does make the mattress higher. But take the whole bed off and measure. I worked at Ikea for over 5 years before I bought a twin sized bed for my child from them. My toddler constantly was jumping and rough housing on and under her bed. The wooden slates refused to stay in place, even when I tried using velcro to secure them. After the staples on the straps securing the slats in a row started to go I finally starting looking outside Ikea for a solution. This product is absolutely AMAZING! I wish Ikea sold something similar, but for now this worked great! It was more expensive than the $30 (retail) Ikea slats, but it weighs less, is easier to install and is crazy easy to move. I moved house about a month after installing this and it easily lifted out of her Ikea bedframe and traveled to the new house without failing apart or becoming damaged in anyway. 11/10 recommend. I loved it so much I bought a king sized for our new Ikea bedframe too! ... show more

I really enjoy the bed on the floor look but can’t seem to find a frame low enough that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, so I decided to go with this and see how it does. I like the look, the price was perfect, and it took 40 minutes or so to put together. Not sure how I feel about the sticky stuff, but could be a pro. I purchased a queen and I feel like it fit my queen mattress just fine. Doesn’t seem to make any noise so far and my dogs jump on and off the bed plenty. ... show more

My boards had been broken under my mattress for months and sagging... Ive had back pain for months... got this in the mail and put it together within 20 minutes myself. It made a huge difference like I had a brand new mattress again! Nice and sturdy and silent! And for the price cant beat it!

Seller has no communication to address a problem with this. While the unit is okay, it came with an incorrectly manufactured slat that will not insert in place properly. I have emailed the company several times and originally received a bogus, clearly AI response because it addressed literally nothing I was talking about and accused me of assembling it incorrectly. Clearly their AI does not analyze photos. I responded and asked for an actually response from someone, it has been weeks and nothing, despite several emails, calls and reaching out to Amazon support whom simply gave me the same contact information from them. good frame. extremely easy to put together. maybe like an inch and a half too small for my bed, but i kept the original wooden slats on & placed the frame on top. worked perfectly. feels great, not worried about it falling or anything. no real complaints.

We purchased a full sized mattress and box-spring for my daughter's bed frame. Even the low-profile box-spring made the mattress sit far too high. I'd never heard of a "Bunkie Board" but after reading many reviews we landed on this one. This Bunkie Board is a great value ($100 less than the box-spring)! It's very sturdy and was easy to assemble (15 minutes). It fits inside the frame rails perfectly, but I would suggest leaving the existing cross supports in place if you have them (we did). The board provides excellent support for the mattress with very little movement and absolutely zero added noise. ... show more
