Received tractor 5/24/2025, assembled and noticed broken wire and burn mark at bottom of vehicle. It’s been charging nearly two hours will not make a sound or no lights come on.

Got it for my grandson for Christmas. Because of the weather I didn’t put it together till Jan 2025. He loves it! The first day after charging it for a minimum of 8 hrs it stayed charged most of the day, but the battery life has continually decreased since then. I tried charging it longer but it didn’t make a difference. Now 2 months later it turns out but won’t drive/move. He pushes the pedal but nothing happens. It stays outside under the cover of our patio. I don’t know why it quit working. He’s disappointed because he truly loved driving it around the yard.

UPDATE: I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one, it works perfect, I think there must be some wiring issue with the first one. The new one works great and my kids love it. The first couple times we used this I used the remote control to drive it for my son. Figured out that it does not work correctly when the remote is not being used. When the kid uses the peddle to accelerate it goes forward about two feet and then stops. And then there is a lag where the acceleration peddle will not work again. And it has randomly gone rouge and it kept accelerating even when the peddle was not engaged. When I tried to contact the seller that told me to email them and then I have not heard back. Outside the return window so can’t do anything.

This was an ok product. I bought this for my boys and it worked great for a month and then the pedal completely stopped working. I did contact the seller and they did send me a brand new pedal and now is back working. Charge doesn’t last too long. Don’t know if I would buy again.
