Update: Changed from 1 star to 5. Here's why: I finally got ahold of the company (I think I had the wrong contact info) & they responded almost immediately from that email. They sent over new sheets very quickly. So they have lived up to their "Mellanni Lifetime Promise" & it is appreciated. Now on to the quality of the sheets. Idk how to explain it but when you lay the flat sheet down and try to pull it more to one side, it feels like the other side is already tucked in. It's weird. Not bad at all - just weird. The sheets are smooth but not silky. That said, these are currently my favorite sheets. I recently bought 3 or 4 new sheets to find "the one" and so far, these are the best. I usually sleep warm but I don't find myself soaked in sweat with these. I have pets who sleep with me & that means their hair is everywhere. With these sheets, I don't feel every. single. hair. It's frigging amazing. These sheets are extremely soft. I havent noticed any changed in texture from washing them. My cat has gotten his claw snagged, which sucks but I'm used to it. I am definitely going to buy another set of these in a different color. I have already recommended them to my brother & he has bought them for himself & likes it as well. He said that he likes the pockets on the fitted sheet since he doesn't usually use the flat sheet. Older review: Pros: • Soft sheets. • Beautiful color/print. Cons: • The pockets are on the fitted sheet. • Two holes in the flat sheet. (See photos) • Flat sheet was a QUEEN instead of CalKing. (See photos) • Doesn't live up to the "Mellanni Lifetime Promise" (if you are not satisfied with your purchase at any point, for any reason, you can return it with no questions asked. That's the Mellanni promise...you don't even have to send back the product.) I ordered cal king sheets. We unfortunately didn't check them before throwing them into the washer & didnt see the issues until it was too late. As soon as we took the sheets out of the package, we loved how they felt. So so soft. We were very excited to put these on our bed. I cant talk about how well they are while sleeping though. I did know ahead of time that the pockets were on the fitted sheet but I am mentioning it because well, we would have liked them on the flat sheet instead. Amyways, we would have been happy with them regardless but as we were making the bed, I noticed a hole in the flat sheet. My fiancé thought it was small enough to ignore so we continue trying to make the bed. He kept pulling the sheet all the way to his side & not leaving me any to tuck in on my side. We went back & forth until I realized something wasn't right. I decided to look at the tag and saw it said QUEEN. What?! How did we get a queen flat & CalKing fitted sheet? At this point, doesnt matter about the hole or the pockets, we can't keep it. I decided to look at the sheets more closely and noticed another hole. The problem is we ordered these sheets before the fires in CA. And then the fires got too close to our home for comfort. So the sheets got ignored and forgotten for a few weeks. It wasn't until we knew we were safe & didn't have to evacuate that we remembered the fresh & clean sheets we washed. But it was too late to return through Amazon. I decided to email the company before leaving a review because it seems like an easy fix - it wasn’t like we don't like the sheets because they sleep hot or some other reason (we don't know either way at this point), plus I saw their "promise". Well, we still haven't heard back from the company a few weeks later. I didnt want to leave a bad review but I feel that will be the only way to get their attention since they havent replied to my email. We have bought other sheets since then that we like. My fiancé would rather us get our money back. I would honestly be happy to get a new set to try but I believe we should definitely get a refund since we did not get the sheets we paid for. I Just thought about: I do wonder how well the sheets hold up seeing as there were two holes in the ones we received. Either these were well-used sheets by someone else or they wear easily.

So for years my boyfriend has always liked “jersey sheets” or “tee shirt” sheets or sheets made of flannel. He says he doesn’t like the feeling of cold “silky” feeling sheets as he’s always cold. I’m opposite and am always hot, and anytime we stayed in a nice hotel I looked forward to being able to sleep on cooler, taught, soft sheets for a couple of nights. I was able to deal with our old sheets but the issue we both hated was after awhile any sheet we got would get pilling. We even splurged and got a $60 flannel sheet which did the same thing forcing me to shave off these little annoying fuzz balls that make it feels like there is thousands of crumbs on the sheets. I also would wash our bedding once a week because the Jersey sheets seemed to “grow” as we move around in bed making it so the sheet was not taught and super annoying to lay on. The day I would wash them they would be comfortable but ultimately by the end of the week they would be almost hanging off our mattress. I ordered these sheets on a whim and got them the same day and immediately just threw out the jersey sheet and put this on (I didn’t even wash it, I know it’s gross but I was desperate for a comfy nights sleep and they came around 8pm) when I put them on I realized how soft and comfortable they felt. I also liked how the pillow cases are larger than most pillow cases that I have had in the past. We’ve been using these sheets for about a week and I love how I don’t wake up with my pillow popping out of the case anymore. The sheets have loosed ever so slightly since a week of sleeping but still are really taught and comfortable. They are cooler than flannel or fabric sheets and are initially cold when you first lay on them but I wouldn’t consider them “cooling” but they keep me from feeing extremely hot. They are way better than I ever would have expected for the price. I look forward to laying on them at the end of each day, even my boyfriend laid in bed the day I got them and said “wow I didn’t think I would like sheets like this, these are so soft!” And fell asleep immediately. We ended up ordering a second set in grey and the color is pretty. I still have yet to wash them, I usually use 2 tide pods when washing the bedding but I might get some fabric softener (as I hear it helps with pilling) to prevent the possibility of having that happen to these sheets in the future. I am hoping they hold up well after the wash and longer use. If they start to pill after wash, I will come back and update my review. Until then, I would highly recommend these sheets for the quality and the price point that they are offered at. Honestly, at this point even if they pill months from now I probably wouldn’t even be upset as long as they stay the same price I would just buy another set as they are just that comfortable and soft. UPDATE: So it has been about 3 months since I have purchase and used these sheets. They are still as soft as the day I first put them on. I’ve been washing them bi-weekly along with my comforter and pillowcases. I wash them with warm water using a combination of tide pods and added Downy fabric softener. They say to hang dry them in the description but I have been putting them in the dryer on medium and have been taking them out after around 20-25 minutes, they seem to dry extremely quickly. They have yet to have absolutely any pilling and also have not shrunk or stretched. Also I have a cat that is very active and also sleeps with me who enjoys kneading on my bed and I haven’t even noticed any signs of wear what so ever to the eye or to the feel. I highly recommend these sheets. I still have yet to even open the second set I purchased!

I'm a bit disappointed in the reviewers who kept stating how soft these sheets are, even going so far as to say they're as soft as bamboo sheets, such as the ones I used to be able to get at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Nope. They also are not any thicker than those sheets - if anything, they are thinner. So I don't expect they'll last any longer than those would have, had I gotten them. Thankfully I only purchased the twin sheets for our guest bed - I'd wanted to make it feel luxurious (as ours does with our bamboo and 1000ct Egyptian cotton sheets), but at a reasonable price point. You get what you pay for... I should have invested a bit more and bought a brand I know and love already, like Sheex (though that's honestly at the top end of the price spectrum and I can only ever afford them when on sale). But I had hoped, based on reviews and the ads and Amazon and all that's been said about these sheets that they'd at least be as soft and luxury feeling as the others, even if not as thick (hadn't really expected that based on the price point, but had hoped.) So I'm rather disappointed. I will keep them as I washed them already in hopes of that helping to soften them as others have noted it might... it really didn't. But I definitely will not be buying this brand again. Also - I'd ordered an extra set of pillow cases since the twin set comes with only one pillow (as most do, though I still don't understand why as most twin beds still have two pillows on them... and the twin sets are not THAT much cheaper than the next size up). I got the Grey Paisley pattern, which I will say is a very pretty pattern and another reason I kept them. However - their dye lots are not consistent. The extra grey pair of pillowcases I got are a shade lighter than the sheet set itself. I put the pillowcase from the sheet set and the ones from the extra package I bought together, and it's very obvious - one looks much lighter and whiter than the other, which has a darker grey pattern overall to it. Again - both patterns are nice, but I honestly thought for a moment I'd gotten the wrong pattern in the extra pillowcases, the difference in the colors were so much. If you look at the photo I took, the one above is from the sheet set, the one below is from the extra pillowcase I bought - it is the exact same place in the pattern, they should look exactly alike. But above you can see more of the flowers, you can see dark parts and details in the pattern and flowers that you are almost not there they're so light in the lower pattern. The photo doesn't do the difference justice in real life either - it's way more obvious than what that shows when seeing it IRL. So... again, you get what you pay for. At least part of it was paid by points on my card as well. But I just wish I'd used my Discover points on something else I'd truly loved. So for those who are looking for truly soft, silky sheets that feel as good as high count Egyptian cotton or Bamboo, with consistent colors and patterns... just get the real deal. It'll be worth the extra cash.

I had a set of sheets I loved, but are out of stock. So figured I would try these as I was wanting to have a spare to swap between each week when I washed the other set. The color was spot on what I wanted. A beautiful dark grey. Out of the pack, they were very thin, but so nice and soft. Just what I was wanting. They fit the mattress great. They flow and lay perfect. Also are also cooler than my other sheets. So I was excited about these with our hot humid nights coming up. I washed them. Followed the directions exactly, and put them on my bed. Perfect! The first few nights they were great. I loved the feeling of the pillow cases. I also loved how the sheets float on top of you, and not drap on top of you. All good until the 3rd or 4th night I noticed the bottom (fitted) sheet started pilling (getting little pills like some sweaters do). Started feeling like soft sand paper. The top sheet and pillow cases are fine, but the fitted sheet is just... ugh. Only used 2 weeks and only washed twice. Because of how thin they are, I would be afraid to do anything to get rid of the pilling. So disappointed. I did want to love these sheets.

These are very thin sheets but soft and comfortable and cool. Being thin lets keeps you cool and doesn’t lock in the heat like cotton sheets. My complaint is the fitted sheet slides around and if you move some in your sleep the sheet will pull up loose and not stay in place.

Here are things that you would not perhaps know unless you owned these exact sheets for six months like we have: They are staying together well, no seams have split, no hanging threads. They are thin, so they take up very little room in the laundry hamper and in the washer and dryer when balled up. They are easily air dried on a rack or clothesline due to their thinness. If one likes the feel of freshly washed, crisp sheets, these are not going to be your favorites; even washed and dried, they are never crisp, stiff, tight, or any of those kinds of words. If one likes the feeling of soft sheets, silky, smooth, flowing, then these may be your favorites. They seem colorfast; we bought the gray color and I cannot say they are any dingier or less vibrant than the day we bought them. These microfiber-style, polyester sheets absolutely show oil stains more than cotton sheets, and it does not wash out. This may be particularly true of the darker colored sheet sets and pillowcases. If one uses body oils (e.g Neutrogena Body Oil), Vaselines, skin creams, hair gels, or eats potato chips in bed, you may not like how these sheets look after a few months. This bedding will have you believing that your spouse has ordered a bucket of KFC and ate it at a pajama party while you were at work; don't worry, your wife isn't having an affair with Col. Sanders...it's just the sheets. These sheets have not shrunk and still can be easily placed on the bed. Even the fitted Mellanni sheet with elastic corners, unlike my usual cotton shrinky-dink sheets, doesn't snap up into my kisser while I'm making the bed. Thanks, Mellanni! These sheets are super soft, great color and good price, praise ends there. Washed out of the packaging, put on my king size mattress. They were nice not super cooling but not hot either. At the end of week one with my new sheets my dog got sick on the quilt, I washed all the bedding. When I put back on the bed there was a large tear on the fitted sheet. So they lasted a week. Sadly the great deal was not a deal at all. I’m going back to the pricey well made sheets that last for years. No more Amazon special prime prices. Yes, less than $40 dollars for king sized sheet is not a deal when they last for a week, that’s a scam.
