    • Things I discovered in 6 months of using these Mellanni sheets (two sets, two beds).

Here are things that you would not perhaps know unless you owned these exact sheets for six months like we have: They are staying together well, no seams have split, no hanging threads. They are thin, so they take up very little room in the laundry hamper and in the washer and dryer when balled up. They are easily air dried on a rack or clothesline due to their thinness. If one likes the feel of freshly washed, crisp sheets, these are not going to be your favorites; even washed and dried, they are never crisp, stiff, tight, or any of those kinds of words. If one likes the feeling of soft sheets, silky, smooth, flowing, then these may be your favorites. They seem colorfast; we bought the gray color and I cannot say they are any dingier or less vibrant than the day we bought them. These microfiber-style, polyester sheets absolutely show oil stains more than cotton sheets, and it does not wash out. This may be particularly true of the darker colored sheet sets and pillowcases. If one uses body oils (e.g Neutrogena Body Oil), Vaselines, skin creams, hair gels, or eats potato chips in bed, you may not like how these sheets look after a few months. This bedding will have you believing that your spouse has ordered a bucket of KFC and ate it at a pajama party while you were at work; don't worry, your wife isn't having an affair with Col. Sanders...it's just the sheets. These sheets have not shrunk and still can be easily placed on the bed. Even the fitted Mellanni sheet with elastic corners, unlike my usual cotton shrinky-dink sheets, doesn't snap up into my kisser while I'm making the bed. Thanks, Mellanni! I slept on these sheets when I was visiting a friend, and I liked them so much that I bought a set. The sheets are very soft, wash well without wrinkles or pilling so far, and they have elastic all the way around the fitted sheet. The pink ones are a slightly softer shade of pink than the photo implies, but still a lovely color that will lighten up any room. I like the actual color better than the photo color. Of note, the sheets are thin fabric. The pattern on the duvet cover shows through the top sheet. I don’t mind. Time will tell how long the sheets last. I got them on sale for $30, and they are well worth the price. I am considering buying another set. I like them better than my $230 flannel sheet set from a major name brand. ... show more

These sheets are exceptional! They are buttery soft, handle washings with no issues, are a great fit for mattress (with a little room to spare), and the array of colors they come in is unmatched. I cannot believe the price on these. I was originally skeptical about buying sheets from Amazon and I’ve doled out a ton of money for sheets from department stores that have not lasted or been worth the price. Now I understand why these sheets received Good Housekeeping Award. They are fabulous! I’ve gotten rid of all my old sheet sets & am rebuilding linen closet with different colors of this brand. Only con - I wish the set came with 4 pillow cases instead of 2; I bought the extra 2 pillow cases sold additionally. Enjoy! ... show more

These white bed sheets are great they are soft and not that thin! Which is perfect.. they fit perfectly and I will buy again for sure . The pillow covers are nice because they have that design in the ends of the covers with the lines … nothing broken , nothing smells .. nothing missing so good all around and arrived same day! Oh and I bought two since I did need the 4 pillow covers but that’s great cuz I have the next one to put while I wash this one .. I already washed both so have one in Linen closet ready ! ... show more

I love these sheets! I like to wait until I've used a product for a while before writing a review. I have had these sheets for 6 months, washed them several times, and they are still very soft, almost like new. They are the first sheets that I have had that I haven't needed to use sheet clips on the corners to keep them tight without sagging wrinkles. That is a big plus for me. I am guilty of not always getting all the eye makeup off my eyes. I notice some on the pillowcase, washed them without pretreating and they came out clean. The reason for only 4 stars: there was a small patch of pilling where my knee lays on the sheet. I used my d-fuzz-it comb (I added a picture of the comb) and they easily came out. Also, the envelope pillowcase does not stay closed. All in all, I am happy with this purchase. ... show more

First off, we’ve only slept on these one night, and they went right into the wash after they arrived so this review is based off that. Pros: Very soft Pillow cases fit pillows Pockets appear to be somewhat deep Great value Possible Cons: Sage color is a bit lighter than I was expecting Pockets may or may not be deep. We bought these because our old sheets kept slipping off the corners and while these did go over and under the side of the mattress, it was not as much as I anticipated. Definitely not wrinkle free but that’s not something that is of huge importance to me. Will update after washing and using for a few months. ... show more
