The fleece is soft and warm, we chose the charcoal color, it’s dark and inviting. The major drawback is that you may need to wash them several times before using them as they create a lot of lint, I even used a lint roller. Having said that … we just ordered a second set in dark navy.

We sleep on flannel sheets year round. We've purchased dozens of sets, but only from a handful of sellers. We took a chance on these Mellanni sheets, and I have to say we are extremely happy with this purchase. The sheets are a nice quality, and there wasn't a hint of pilling after the first wash. These are comfortable, fit well on the bed, and there was no color lost after washing them. Also, we received these prior to the date promised. The price is great, and we will definitely buy more! Addendum to my review. Unfortunately, we experienced some additional fitted sheet shrinkage with 2 subsequent washings, and now it just barely fits on our bed. We washed these in cold water, and dried on low. It is a struggle to get these on the bed, and our mattress thickness is within their parameters. This is unfortunate because the material is so comfortable. Initially, the fitted sheet was really tight, when we received the sheets, and the company was nice enough to send us another set. Customer service is 5 star, but the replacement fitted sheet now takes Herculean effort to get on the bed, and doesn't really fit properly. :( Also, we had a slight problem with our order, and contacted the company. We received an email within an hour, and our problem was resolved that very day. This experience solidified our intent to purchase more sheets from this company.

It was about 20 years ago I paid double this amount and got what I thought was the perfect flannel sheets until I got these. These are absolutely perfect and a really good price. First, the fitted sheet has deep pockets to fit a fuller matress, I would say atleast a 12" thick matress and there is no fighting to stretch it from one corner to the next. These sheets are true flannel sheets, heavy-weight and very soft. I sleep so much better sliding under these luxurious sheets. They are warm, but not hot - I'll be using them during every season. You will not be sorry you gave these a try, I bought another set for my extra bedroom.

I've been extensively searching for a Pinzon replacement. These sheets are supposedly long-staple cotton, heavy weight, double brushed on both sides. They are a great weight. At first I thought they were soft but after a few days I thought they were a tiny bit scratchy and I'm sure they'll soften up with more washes. But after 2 weeks I noticed they looked like they would start pilling soon. Once I put my Pinzon sheets back on the bed I was oh-so happy. I'm returning these and will spend the extra few $$ for Portuguese flannel sheets. And if flannel sheets were no longer made there I would go with Mellanni Amazon - Please, please bring back Pinzon !!

The media could not be loaded. Edited: amazing customer service. Upon contacting the company they got back to me quickly and sent another set of sheets. I likely had a set with a defect. Super happy! Prev: I read the reviews but took a chance. The sheets feel nice, but after washing them only twice the top sheet is already falling apart at the seems. So upset!!

This is my second set I have bought and returned many flannel sheets before finding this brand. Other sheets fell short especially because they smelt like they were sprayed in chemicals upon arrival. These sheets do not smell and are so damn warm, soft and breathable it’s hard to get out of bed. They pile in dryer but I think that’s what makes a soft thermal sheet. I’m obsessed and thank you this cold California winter these sheets are wonderful on my bed.

First, I love the softness and the price for organic sheets. I love how thick they are and warm. Second, I have never owned flannel sheets that have this much lint. It is a significant issue. The above picture shows the lint from my dryer and this is the second time I have washed them. The lint that came off the first time was the same. The lint is coming off on our bodies as these sheets continue to shed lint. It is on the floor in our bedroom and because we get up and move around the house, lint seems to be traveling everywhere. I am really unhappy with the excessive lint issue. I will update this if the sheets stop shedding after a certain amount of washes. The delivery was speedy but the lint issue is just too much. I hope that the owners come up with solution to the lint and maybe I would buy more. Until then, I look forward to spring and my sheets not shedding.
