I purchased these 3 months ago for my kids to use this summer. They have been used for more than even intended. Everything from catching fireflies, to using them as a little scooper for pool, to batons and swords lol. They are kids having fun! I am happy to say they have held up well despite all the use! I like that these have the telescopic handle, making it easy to pack along for a day at the beach or river. The colors are really nice. The frame for the netting is not that sturdy and bends easily with moderate pressure. This being said, they are worth the money even through they aren’t going to last years. Bought these for party favors for my son’s big hunt themed party. They’re great for catching lighting bugs in the yard! Brought to the creek to catch minnows and crawdads! Works great, but can’t extend the rod out in the water or it gets a little flimsy.

    • Pros & cons, although more cons than pros about these
Hard to review these because they are great! They are exactly what I need for my kids catching fireflies. And the nets have held up with no rips at all. The problem is with the handles, and it happened on all of them! I wish they didn’t make these with the “collapsible” handles. Because they fall apart at those points. Every single one of them did. Two feel apart at the handles on the bus and day we got them. By a weeks time all of them did. And my kids are not very young and are not rough at all. The nets are still sorta usable, just with only a few inch long handles now. If this company just made handles to were an inexpensive plain stick it’d work perfect. Or charge more oven, I’d pay it, if they could keep the handles in tact. I won’t rebuy these. ... show more
