If you’re on the fence, just buy it! This toy box is made with real wood, which is hard to come by these days. It’s important to note that the bottom of it seems more like a particle board, but regardless, it’s incredibly sturdy, and that is the only part of it that isn’t real wood. It’s a very spacious toy box with a simple design. It is also easy to assemble. I assembled it on my own with my 9 month old crawling all over me and the box lol. The value is on par with the price. LOVE this toy chest. It is very sleek looking and the overall design is beautiful to where it could fit into any room whether it be boy, girl, or toy room. It was easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy with it being wood. It is very easy to use since the top does not shut on its own (as pictured) we can keep SO many stuffed animals in there as shown in the pictures I provided. Its function is straight forward. My husband assembled it with minimal frustration. Assembled product looks nice and overall has good quality. The only bummer is that despite my husband's care and attention to assembly, the top doesn't close all the way and hovers slightly. Top also feels a little flimsy. Seems OK for my toddler to sit on, but we've had to ask adult guests not to sit on it multiple times (they thought it was a bench) because it doesn't hold their weight well without feeling it give in a little bit. ... show more

This toy chest was easy to put together, and is very nice looking. I purchased the gray. The paint is fairly shiny. My grandson scoot blocks and pounds over the top of the lid with toys (he’s only 10 months so we’ll let him get away with that for now😬), but with as much abuse as this toy chest is taking, there is not a single scratch on it yet.
