Great little desk, I know it will last for years. Simple and functional. I would give it five stars, HOWEVER, it is a nightmare to assemble. I had 15 minutes to kill and based on the instructions, figured I could put it together very quickly, 10 minutes tops. It took me a FULL hour and lots of expletives shouted in frustration. The hydraulic mechanism that holds the desktop open gets directly in the way of getting a drill or handheld screw driver into a place you can get the screws in. I had to remove it (easy enough, but should be a step in the instructions). The other major difficulty was that the bolt tips are coated to prevent them from loosening in the future, but that meant the bolts were so difficult to drive into the holes that it stopped the bolt heads. I still have one bolt inside the desk that is only 1/4 of the way in and the bolt head is almost completely stripped. Really annoyed, wishing the bolts didn’t have the coating on them. But it’s together. Just need to find an uncoated bolt that fits in the one that is not in all the way. ... show more

The label on the bottom of the chair says holds up to 100lbs. Does not hold 150lbs like the descriptions says. Easy to put together. Seems sturdy but haven’t used yet.

Sturdy and excellent desk. The hinge came broken but I contacted customer support and they provided a replacement. Great desk that my son uses daily and great service. The chair is not that comfortable for my 5 year old son, but we added a pad and he likes it now.

Putting the chair together was super easy. But when I tried to put the legs on the desk, the inserts of the legs that the screws went into were not lined up straight. Instead of the legs just having like a pre drilled hole, there was a little insert on all the legs. It made lining up the legs to tighten the screws extremely difficult.
