Purchased this to add to my toddlers play kitchen area. I purchased it because it was on sale and Melissa and Doug is always great quality. I love that they have Velcro so the cookies stay put and not slide everywhere while the kids are trying to play. This would make a great gift!

I got rid of all the plastic, flimsy, or broken play food and changed it to wooden play food. Something easier to clean and more durable. With a 2 year old and 5 year old we need something that will last us time but also abuse from them and their friend thats here often. They love to play chef, house or restruant. These are a perfect addition to our play kitchen. Durable, fun colors, relastic, strudy, great value for the price. My friend was impressed she ended up getting some for her son. The media could not be loaded. Such a cute set. Love that it's non toxic, unlike all the plastic ones out there. Take the dough out of the cookie dough container, then you cut the dough with the play knife separating the velcro, place on tray, add frosting pieces, put in the play oven, take out and serve cookies with included spatula.
