  • A must-have for little ones
This rainbow stacker has become an absolute favorite in our house! My 9-month-old can't get enough of it. The brightly colored rings are perfect for grabbing and holding, and he loves taking them on and off the base. It's amazing to watch his problem-solving skills develop as he figures out how to stack the rings in order. This toy is not only entertaining but also educational. It helps with fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and color recognition. The wooden construction is sturdy and high-quality, so I know it will last for years to come. I highly recommend this rainbow stacker for any baby or toddler. It's a classic toy that provides hours of fun and learning! ... show more

  • Fun and entertaining
The rainbow stacker is a brightly colored stackable toy that is perfect for children who are learning about colors, sizes, and sorting. One of the standout features of this toy is its vibrant colors. Each of the eight stackable rings is a different hue of the rainbow, making it visually appealing and engaging for young children. The rings are also made with a smooth finish, which makes them easy for little hands to grasp and stack. The rainbow stacker is not only a fun toy, but it also promotes cognitive development. As children stack the rings onto the central post, they learn about size relationships and develop their grasp and hand-eye coordination. The rings also have numbers printed on them, which can be used to teach basic counting skills. One drawback of the rainbow stacker is that the rings can be a bit loose on the post, especially when the stack gets taller. This can make it challenging for young children to stack the rings without them toppling over. However, this can also be seen as an opportunity for children to problem-solve and learn about balance. Overall, the rainbow stacker is a great toy for young children. Its vibrant colors, smooth finish, and educational benefits make it ... show more

  • Grand daughter love it
My 14 month grand daughter loves this toy. She loves stacking the rings and is learning her colors as she does. I like the fact that there is weight to the rings so she can feel the difference in the sizes. It is well built and the wood is nice and smooth.

  • Small
The item is very small but that’s my fault. I should have read the size a little closer . Honestly had I realized the size , I probably would’ve bought it. I am keeping it as it’s not worth making a trip to ups store . It’s a cute Mini and it seems made well

  • Better Than Any Other Stacker!!
I love this so much! I actually got 2, one for my daughter and one for my husband's cousin's daughter. It is so much nicer than the cheap plastic ones and they don't sing unnecessary and annoying songs like some stackers I've seen. These are just the right size and are so cute too! One of the features that I appreciate the most is that the stick that you stack onto is a straight stick. With some stackers, the sticks are cone-shaped and the size of the hole on each ring is different. That doesn't allow the child to put the smaller rings on the bottom. Basically, with those stackers, you can only stack the rings in the exact right order. This one isn't like that though! You can stack the rings in any order that you want which is definitely better for development because it gives them the chance to just practice stacking before they figure out the sizes and colors. I also wanted to comment on the recommended age because it is 18+ months. That is kind of ridiculous for this toy. Actually, I always have that problem with Melissa and Doug, but it isn't a big deal because their toys are so awesome and you can make your own judgment calls on what toys are appropriate for your children at different ages and stages. I'm sure 18 months is approximately when most children are able to easily and effectively stack the rings in the right order...but that doesn't mean you should wait until then to get them this. My daughter is 8 months old and loves this thing! She can just play with the pieces and watch us and her older brother stack until she is able to. For now, she prefers unstacking and that is fine too and is also an important part of her development. The quality of these pieces is fantastic and I strongly recommend this over any other stacker. ... show more

  • Great toy for encouraging fine motor skills
I got this for my son for his first birthday. For a while, he would play with it by picking it up, dumping all the rings off the pin, and throwing them around, banging them together to make noise, or putting them in his mouth. (He still does this at 13.5 months, FWIW). In spite of the rough treatment, the rings (including the paint) and the pin are all still in fantastic condition, showing no real signs of wear. As our son has started walking, we've had to be careful to keep an eye on him if he is playing with this toy: we don't want him walking around with it in his mouth, as he could easily injure himself pretty badly if he fell down like that. But he has learned how to stack the rings, and is SO proud of himself when he does it. The ball is a bit harder to put on the pin than the rings are, since it's harder to see where the hole is, so he hasn't mastered that yet. He's a bit slow on pointing with his index finger, so we're trying to work on that skill. One of the things I've started doing is encouraging him to poke his finger through the holes of the rings, so that's another way we can play with this toy. It's also great for identifying colors. ("Look, your shirt is blue! This ring is blue, too!" Great purchase. ... show more
