A Must-Have for Kids' Independence!
Color: Gray
The Melissa & Doug Kids Furniture Wooden Step Stool in Gray has been a game-changer in our household. As a parent, I'm always on the lookout for products that make our daily routines smoother and encourage our kids' independence, and this step stool fits the bill perfectly. First and foremost, the build quality of this stool is impressive. It's sturdy and well-crafted, ensuring our children's safety as they use it to reach various heights. The gray finish is not only sleek but also blends seamlessly with our home decor. One of the standout features of this step stool is its versatility. It's just the right height for our little ones to reach bathroom sinks, kitchen counters, or shelves. Whether it's washing hands, brushing teeth, or helping out in the kitchen, this stool has become an essential tool in our kids' daily routines. The non-slip grip on the top surface provides added security, preventing slips and accidents. It's reassuring to know that our children can step up with confidence, and we don't have to worry about them losing their balance. Cleaning is a breeze; a quick wipe-down is all it takes to keep it looking clean and new. The compact size means it doesn't take up much space, making it easy to move around the house as needed. I appreciate that Melissa & Doug have designed this step stool with children in mind, considering both their safety and independence. It's a simple yet indispensable addition to our home, and I can see us using it for years to come as our kids grow. In conclusion, the Melissa & Doug Kids Furniture Wooden Step Stool in Gray is a fantastic investment for parents. It's well-built, safe, and versatile, helping our children become more self-sufficient while ensuring their safety. If you're in search of a reliable and stylish step stool for your kids, I wholeheartedly recommend this one. It's a parenting win!

Durable and high quality
Color: Gray
This stool is the perfect height for our Toddler to use as she continues to grow. It is very sturdy and a bit heavy (which I like). It was fairly easy to put together and understand the directions. I wouldn't recommend to someone if their toddler is not comfortable with stairs as it would be very easy to lose balance and fall off. The quality of the wood and materials is great. I know we will use this for many years to come!

Nice, tall toddler stool
Color: White
***SIX YEAR UPDATE: Raise from 4 to 5 stars for long term quality. Still looks great for how much use it has gotten. My now 6 and 8 year olds still use this. Great kids' stool! Original Review: Stool seems sturdy enough and I like that it's taller than the standard plastic potty training stool. I agree with other reviewers that the surface is slick but easy to diy fix. Mine didn't have any of the bad scratches some reviewers mentioned. Removed one star for quality that affected assembly. A few of the holes drilled for the screws we're slightly off center so screwing them in wasn't as smooth. The screw had to dig into the wood to fit properly, but still helf very securely once assembled. This just made it take a bit more effort and caused very subtle bubbling of paint around the nails where the nail had to dig in. I'd still recommend the stool to others. Not a cosmetic flaw that's noticable without close examination.

Great quality, super heavy and really big
Color: Gray
It’s hella sturdy. Solid, great piece of wood. You have to assemble it on your own. We like the color choices. Your kids are NOT falling off this thing! We ended up buying a different stool for the bathroom we’ll use the most and will most likely put this stool in an upstairs bathroom where it’s not used much, but will be in the years to come. For our toddler, it’s very heavy and frustrating for him to try and move. It’s HUGE - which is good and bad for our family. So depending what age and what the need is for this stool, will depend if it fits your needs. We like it, it’s just not practical for us at the moment.

Too heavy and too slippery
Color: Gray
I bought this stool for my newly potty-trained grandsons, but I don't like it. It's too heavy and the smooth surface is slippery. The little boys want to move it themselves, but can't. I even need two hands to move it. I worry their toes will get hurt when they try to move it themselves. And in their stocking feet, they slip on it. It's well made and was easy to assemble.

Nice stool
Color: Gray
Easy build, I was able to put it together with my kids and make it a little shop lesson. They love it more knowing they build it. The design is clean and simple and ties into any bathroom design. Seems sturdy so far for my 3.5 y/o’s. Perfect height for them to wash their hands or get onto the toilet by themselves. Love that the rubber slid stickers were included for the bottom of the stool, it definitely stays in place.
