This bag has deep plush padding which is pretty nice. The outer texture looks professional vs the cheap look of some bags with a plastic feel. My full sized Bongos fit in easily. Actually I wish it were slightly snugger but this could be a good thing and I'm mistaken. The minus is that this bag should have a pouch or two on the outside for the tuning key or bell. Yeah there is this feeble insert at the bottom but I think it is there so that Bongo feet don't tear through the bag. So you're carrying this big ass bag and you need another for the extras. I'd say put a pouch on the side and the top to really increase the value. I'd like to give it 3 stars but since I picked this up I've seen the bongo cases from friends. Those things look and feel feeble. So this bag is not perfect but its better than most. Hope this helps. ... show more

Great padding as Charcoal said. One other thing that you can use the 'divider' for is a pad to Place (drop) your bongos on the floor to keep them from getting banged up when switching to bell. The "Product Dimensions: 58 x 34 x 36 inches ; 4.7 pounds" are totally OFF! Being a little generous, Width 21" x Height 12" x 13" Depth Could be less expensive, but then nothing is inexpensive these day. It's a good buy. ... show more

AFTER BUYING THIS BAG I SOON FOUND OUT HOW WELL CONSTRUCTED IT IS. IT COMES WITH A DIVIDER THAT MAKES IT EASY TO PACK A GUIDO AND AND TWO OR THREE HAND BELLS WITH ROOM TO SPARE ON THE TOP SECTION. ON THE BOTTOM SECTION THERE'S PLENTY OF ROOM FOR THE BONGOS WITH PADDING THAT WILL PROTECT THE DRUMS. YOU CAN CARRY THIS BAG WITH A SHOULDER STRAP OR YOU CAN CARRY IT SUITCASE STYLE.
