I read a review that there was no padding at all in this bag but other reviews were so positive that I went ahead and purchased two for my congas. I used them last week to transport them to a get together. The bags are made of heavy vinyl and are sturdy not light and flimsy. To counter the lack of padding at the bottom I simply placed a towel at the bottom and a towel at the top of my conga head and pulled the cover over and tightened it with the locking draw string that comes with the cover. The cover also has a pocket on the outside so that you can store your tuning tools, headbands, etc.. I am a satisfied customer. Thank you. ... show more

This item fit my Quinta really well with a basket stand. However, the first time I picked it up the stitching in the handle ripped and now it’s not strong enough to use. Such an shame because I really like the bag.

There is no padding at all in these "gig bags", but thankfully I already had my own padded slipcovers (which my sister had sewn for me as a present, but which did not have handles, and were not waterproof). So now by combining my own padded slip covers and the gig bags, I can carry, transport and store my congas safely and easily, in all weather. ... show more
