I did this project with my nine-year-old daughter. We were careful to make sure we measured well, so we could figure out how to scented the wallpaper, calculate the number of rolls we needed including waste for the repeating pattern, and make sure the wallpaper was plumb. If this is your first time hanging wallpaper like it was ours, a little basic prep work and watching an instructional video will go along way. The project was totally doable and we like how it turned out in our laundry closet. The wallpaper has been up for about four months and has not peeled at all, despite the humidity in the laundry room. We did use a little bit of spray adhesive in certain areas when we were applying it, but not much and probably wasn’t needed at all. Trek recommendations I have before attempting to hang wallpaper would be first of all not to try to attempt to hang the wallpaper on super glossy or textured walls. Another tip would be to purchase a wallpaper kit that has some type of scraper/squeegee, and cutting tool included. The kit I purchased was very inexpensive on Amazon and was well worth the money because it meant a professional finish with crisp lines and no air bubbles. Lemon wallpaper is beautiful. It's a nice thickness. Matches up great. Stick is fabulous. I had to take my first sheet half way off because my wall was crooked. Remove stunk fine. Highly recommend. I useda sewing cutting blade roller to cut mine. Was wonderful.

I love this pattern! Quality material. Backing came off easily for install. Bubbles smoothed out easily with tools. No wrinkling or tearing. Color is vibrant and true to image. I was able to give my old fridge a face lift, on $30 rather than buying a new one. I wasn’t so great at lining up the pattern but they do line up if you have patience. Freezer was completed about a year ago and has held up well, even using a magnetic door handle on the paper. Great value! ... show more

At first I tried to line up the wallpaper exactly from roll to roll so the picture was lined up and you couldn’t see the seams. But the wallpaper is not printed to the exact match, so if you’re a perfectionist, this will drive you insane. I finally had to let that go. The good thing is that because the pattern is so busy it is almost impossible to see all the imperfections and wrinkles I ended up with. Also, peel and stick is harder to work with than pasted wallpaper. I assumed the opposite. But pasted wallpaper has a little “give” to it - so you can slide it around a bit. To move this wallpaper, you need to lift it off the wall and move it. I had pieces that ripped off the top layer of drywall to the point that it would not stick anymore and I had to use a new piece. Another thing to consider is that you will need to order at least two more rolls than you’ve measured for in order to match up the pattern correctly. But at the end of the day, I LOVE the way it turned out. I love the pattern so much and don’t care there are imperfections in how it came together. ... show more

First time working with wallpaper, and yes, this stuff is sticky! You don't need a second person, though. A couple of things in my favor: I used a quilting cutting mat and a quilting ruler, which made measuring and cutting much easier. I used a folding utility knife, pencil, scissors, and measuring tape - that's all you need. You can flatten the paper against the wall with your hands, I found, and the vinyl is somewhat forgiving. I attached the paper to kitchen backsplash board (a very smooth and hard surface), so repositioning was not a problem. Recommendation: it helps to move out the stove more than a couple of inches to get the paper on the wall above it straight. Buy more than you think you need! I used two rolls for my kitchen backsplash - and pieced several smaller bits (not always matching) at the end (hardly any leftover) - remember you need to line up the pattern. And yes - agreed with other reviewers: as it is printed just a little off, it is impossible to line up the pattern perfectly. If you are super type A, this may not be the product for you. It does help to start in a corner (if you want to line up the pattern there) and move outward (I did not - should have watched more youtube!). But the pattern is so busy that it does not matter a whole lot. Is it a little extra? yes! ... show more

The paper is good quality but it keeps falling off the wall. The wall paper has kept falling off the wall for the past few months every day. I finally gave up and getting someone to put up stone backsplash for me.
