Meguires Ultra Cut Compound performed as advertised. It went on the scratches easily and buffed off readily. The first application reduced the evidence of the scratches, but it was with the second application that the scratches were eradicated. After the second application the scratches had nearly completely disappeared. This is still the case now, three weeks after the use of Meguires. I had a few scuffs and scratches on the front and rear bumpers of my 2004 Ford Sport Trac. After sanding it I primed & painted it, so after a couple of weeks to let it cure I used the Meguiars Mirror Glaze finishing compound to give it the perfect shine, it was easy I did some by hand and some with a DA buffer. We’ve all had these vehicles with opaque/scratched up spots that won’t go away with windows cleaner. Your mind automatically goes to replacing instead of restoring. If you have a buffer handy, some high cutting compound and a pad then you’ve got the recipe and ingredients to bring your windows back to life. I have a 9-year-old Charger Daytona. I used these pads and the Meguiars Compound to remove all the imperfections with the DA Power System for your drill. Worked great! Wish I could say the same for their Polishing and Waxing pads for said system. Velcro came off both pads on their first use. Finished half the car with the Polishing and Waxing.
