It is the perfect preparation before applying the Meguiar's G8504 Perfect Clarity Glass Sealant. For best results, work the glass compound with a Meguiar's X3080EU Even Coat Applicator Pad before removing the product and cleaning the glass with a clean Meguiar's X2020EU Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel.

I had something very similar to this. I believe it was in an orange bottle almost identical otherwise. They compound is easy to spread on glass. I let it dry and wipe it off. The old stuff wouldn't have any issues after, but this stuff seems to leave a residue, or doesn't fully get all the oils off the glass. This recommends you to use a glass cleaner afterwards, which seems a bit redundant. 8/10 because it does get most of the job done if you're not a perfectionist. Hard to find product that gently gets road film, water deposits, bugs, tar, etc. off of auto glass. I hadn't used this for a few years and was glad to find it offered on Amazon. Excellent product and worth the wait (it shipped from UK to me in USA).
