Like so many photographers, I have a camera bag acquisition problem, a problem exacerbated by my recent adoption of a Fujifilm X100f camera. My Megagear messenger bag was acquired to supply me with something in basic black. It is serving perfectly as a combined camera bag/purse. I am able to fit and carry easily the usual sundries of my purse and my camera (in its lovely Fujifilm leather case, no less), plus a small notebook and a Kindle. In addition to my camera, I can also carry spare batteries, a lens hood, and filters. My Megagear bag is well made: the seams are nicely sewn, the leather is attractive, and the strap and buckle are sufficiently sturdy. The left and right side and back pockets are tight, and thus have little functionality. For me they will serve best for stowing parking slips, boarding passes, etc. The interior front pocket is perfect for storing a Kindle or iPad mini, if not a small tablet (say the 9.7 iPad). I like very much the design of the front flap, which tucks in at the corners to provide an excellent rain buffer. All in all, this bag is the perfect combination of efficiency and subtly, well-sized for carrying throughout the day and into museums, galleries, and other places where a large camera bag would prove problematic. ... show more

This is a lovely camera bag. Sturdy, nice soft leather. A campsnap super 8 movie camera fits! It took awhile to find the perfect position it in the bag and after a bit of natural leather stretching it is absolutely perfect Front zip for an extra lense and wallet and I am good to go! This camera built exceeded my expectation. Every inch of this camera bag scream attention to detail. The clutch of shoulder strap are metal and the loop for the clutch are also metal. The interior compartment are soft plush fabric that will not scratch your camera body. Two inner dividers. Two slim side pockets and one slim but wide inner flaps. The camera bag is made of hard shell to better protect you price procession camera. You can put a camera body with mid-size macro lens attached to the body , then a space for another extra lens. That's it. This is the camera that you take with you to a party, a casual event, a park, or somewhere that you want to look stylish when you have a camera in your bag. This is not the type of camera bag for a workhorse application. You need a water-resistance, bigger capacity bag with many pockets for such a task. But if you want to look cool and not like a camera nerd, this handsome camera case is for you. I received this today and opened up in front of some coworkers and they all commented on how great it looked. It’s a medium dark brown color and should age nicely. This is pretty much the same size as my canvas Ona Bowery. I wanted something similiar in size but in leather. It’s not too heavy for being leather. Has some weight to it but not too much. Not too crazy about the zipper on the back. Would have preferred just an open pocket there with no zipper to slip a phone in and out. Maybe with a magnet that keeps it shut. Th front slip pocket is nice but I think I prefer the two pocket design of my Ona instead of one big pocket. It’s not bad. Just different. Might grow on me. In all honesty this is a great looking bag. I would buy it again. Now to see how it holds up to every day use. I imagine it will soften up and patina nicely. Great purchase. ... show more

This is a great bag for the money. I’ve owned quite a few bags and haven’t found one that I have loved. I think this is the one! The material is nice and I can tell it’s going to wear nicely. Inside the main compartment fits my Leica Q and charger, my small wallet, and my iPhone. The back pocket fits my notebook and pen. In the side pockets I have my chapstick and the other fits my lens cleaning cloth. The bag is lightweight and feels good on the shoulder. As a photographer who focuses on travel and urban photography, I have a need to carry my photography equipment with me for long hours. I used to use a photo backpack to carry my stuff and I must say that it is not very convenient in the city or while traveling in different cities. You need to stop, find a place to put your bag to grab your camera or cards etc. I was happy with the decision switching to a messenger bag. Especially with this MegaGear bag, you can make the insert in this bag adjustable, and after a little arrangement, I was able to fit everything I needed perfectly inside this bag. Everything sits in place and safely and it is next to me at all times. I can access my camera quickly when an opportunity presents itself. It also has enough room to fit my cards, a couple spare batteries and snacks. What makes this bag a real keeper though is its construction. I can tell that it is highly durable, the padding and stitching are well made, and the brass parts are high quality. Stop looking, you just found a perfect camera bag! It's an incredible quality bag for my Leica CL + 2 lenses, my small Manfrotto tripod also fits in a back pocket. Leather quality is incredible, it feels like a steal, bag is light and looks stylish as well. I have purchased ONA Bowery bag and return it, because I think this is a better bag, it has more room as well for more than half of the price. I really wanted to love this bag and was using it every day since I got it at the end of April, 2021. Really comfortable to carry over my shoulder. I was only carrying my two extra lenses and a cell phone, so I don’t know why it start falling apart by the end of august. First ripped of and I was lucky I just caught and bag falling down my shoulder. My husband make shift fixed it for me so I can carry on through a wedding season. After a week, the front lock broke and fell off. I was never able to find it. And the stitching on a shoulder strap are coming undone. All the above is really frustrating and can jeopardize my expensive equipment. Would not recommend this bag. ... show more
