As someone who played Star Force 1 and 3, I enjoyed this a lot. Following in the footsteps of the Battle Network Legacy Collection, this pack contains all versions of all games from the Star Force series, including all of the content that was cut from Western releases or restricted to Japan-exclusive real-life events and peripherals. On top of that, there are QoL toggles to adjust movement speed, encounter rates, money gains, etc. Godsends, whether you're replaying a game in multiple versions for whatever reason or grinding out money and cards for the post-game. The Brother System has also been improved. Thanks to online play and being able to register a list of up to 100 other players, no more do I have that awkward moment known as "I want to get cards and bonuses from other versions of the game, but do not know anyone who owns a copy of those other versions" dilemma that so many other games of the early 2000's and even now suffer from. The best part about playing this on the Switch is that with the joycons or a separate controller, I can futz the screen settings to emulate the top and bottom screen setup of the DS and still play it. Just for that extra bit of authenticity. I can safely say this is a great pack, for both people who never played Star Force before or someone who already dived into the (Wave) world of Star Force before.

Loved these games on the DS. Love these games on the Switch. There are a few hiccups every here and there, the bull riding wasn't impossible but it didn't read a few inputs, but no real complaints. I had hopped you could connect the different saves from the other games for each volume, but it's a minor thing overall. Just do some random battles online and ask to be Brothers after. Still would've been nice if the Switch versions could use Touch Screen controls, but they'd have to program the game in a different way just for Nintendo.

You're probably familiar with the high quality of Capcom legacy collections, so I'll keep this short in that regard. The Quality of Life upgrades are AMAZING. Despite owning the original DS versions of a couple of the titles, I do not see myself ever returning to them, as this is the definitive way to play through every one of them. It is also a fraction of the cost if you don't already own the originals. If you're not familiar with how these play, they are some of the most unique games I've ever experienced. Deck-building combined with realtime action RPG on a grid, against wildly varying opponents with differing type matchups and difficulty levels. Watch a few videos of people playing it, and you'll get the basic idea, but making your own style of deck is so much of the fun. For those who have played Battle Network and are unsure about Star Force- yes, you definitely want this too. It is worth every penny. If you started it back when it released, and dropped the series because you didn't like the first entry- remember the rough beginning to Battle Network and the fantastic entries that came after. Star Force has a solid intro, but becomes PHENOMENAL as it opens up in 2 and 3. No one is reading this review after playing Star Force 3, because they already know how amazing of a value this collection is for that game alone. Highly, highly, highly recommend. Base games 9/10, legacy collection versions 11/10.

I love that Capcom keeps putting out these collections for all the individual series megaman games this one like the previous ones is fantastic which extras and a few QoL improvements for new players. If you want to check out these games this is a great value for all the games you get and in one package
