Good price, great variety, good presentation. Love the colors. Some colors like the olive green, arctic blue, and many others you just can't find or even make as nice as these colors. I bought 2 so far. Just wish they were bigger and had more Mars Black.

The question: "for beginners" is tough to answer. Oil paint is not really for beginners. It requires knowledge and practice. Beginners should probably stick to acrylic until they get the basics, like darkening colors doesn't usually mean putting black into the color, or lightening doesn't always involve using white. Also, the beginner should know that oil paint takes a long time to dry, especially without alkyd resins. That said, oil blends better, and is a higher standard, and this product works fine. ... show more

Would not dry. I let it sit for 6 months and it did not dry! I just set it aside and waited. No - it did not dry.

I am a beginner when it comes to Oil paints, and from my experience these are very nice and well pigmented. They are very thick and not runny. and comes in such beautiful colors! They become very saturated when being used. and DONT SMELL! I have heard a lot of Oil paints smell bad, but these do not! I would recommend these for sure to anyone trying a new medium! ... show more
