works great accurate - i guess. seems to corralte to my a1c number. easy to work once i figured it out put test strip in monitor, stick finger,hit the blood on the end of test strip, counts down from 5 sec, and poof the number pops. this monitor was the best deal i could find and gave me 100 days of testing to resupply strips and lancets 20 bucks aint bad id recommend this one if you are on a budget.

I was really nervous about the finger prick and the whole process, but you honestly barely feel the stick (on the lowest setting) it is so easy to use, I was so nervous leading up to it, I even closed my eyes when I pressed the button to stick my finger, when it went in I was like "oh, I worried for all that?" And chuckled a bit. User friendly, I would say virtually painless and quick delivery.

After buying 3 diferent "sugested' monitors from amazon I can say with confidence. Do not buy any of these from amazon. they are all defective. I will recomend to buy them on your local pharmacy. I have no idea why, maybe thye storage them diferent or send the bad batches to amazon. But none of the monitos I have ever got in amazon works and is a danger for someone who has sugar issues. this one also didnt have any correct readings. Then if you want a refund you need to drop the damage item on a ups dropbox so you end up spending more money in gas and time anyway. I also notice that even if they are diferent brands. they look the same. it seems liike they all use the same factory anyway.

I found the meter itself is accurate and very reasonably priced, however, due to the small size and rounded edges, it is very difficult to hold on to and manipulate. Considering that a high percentage of the target consumer base suffers from neuropathy or other issues affecting dexterity, this device is a fail.
