It's light weight, washes very well, stain resistant and does not fade in the wash. I dressed it up for our dining room table for a family event and it worked very well. You need this if you have small children (or clumsy adults)! I spent many years cleaning up spills, both on my tablecloths and then on the wood underneath that the liquid would inevitably seep through. I started researching waterproof tablecloths after one too many spills and found this. Pros: - the waterproof is fantastic. The liquid sits on top of the fabric (see my pic) for you to blot up. It doesn't seep through the fabric to the wood below. Now, I assume if you left it sitting there for an extended period of time, it might eventually seep through, but I always wipe our spills up quickly. - the color is a nice neutral, and the pattern is subtle Cons: - does wrinkle easily, but it's a small price to pay - I had one torn to shreds in the washing machine the first time. I sent an email to the company and got a replacement. Since then, no issues. Although I think technically you're not supposed to wash them in the washing machine...but you totally can! ... show more
