The size chart is fairly accurate. I had no issues with the Medium. The sheen of the skirt makes the color appear a bit different depending on lighting. Also as others have mentioned, the material bunches around the waistline which makes it look a bit messy. I’d recommend this skirt if you have something covering your waistline. If your tucking in your top it may look bad.

I ordered a pair of these lightweight skorts for our teen daughter to wear on a cruise vacation we just returned from. They look really attractive on her, are comfortable, and she likes them a lot, but I will say she is very thin and being mostly cotton they don't have a ton of stretch, although there is a little Spandex, so if in doubt you might want to size up as they won't have a ton of give in the waist. There are actually two different content tags. There is the waist stretch area that has 5% Spandex with 95% cotton, and the rest of the material is 85% cotton and 15% flax - so I love that it's mostly natural instead of synthetic fabrics, since it makes it more breathable, soft, comfortable, and durable. It's nice quality, and I wash it in cold to ensure it doesn't shrink. The color also is rich and hasn't faded at all - the image on the web site looks like a lighter rust color in the images, but it's much more deep with more red in it than shown, which I personally like (see photo), and it may lighten and look more weathered over time if out in the sun a lot which is typical with cotton materials. I think I would be happy with either shade. So overall, I'm really pleased with the skorts as they're pretty, breezy, stylish, made of high-quality natural materials, but would just say if you're not thin and in shape with the slim fit and not much stretch, consider ordering a slightly larger size.

I like the material but it is not very stretchy. I have other pieces of clothing that are the same material and they are much more forgiving. It is advertised as reversible and I would say that that is surprisingly true.

Did not expect this to match Free People’s quality but it honestly does. It took a while to arrive but I bought this blue one because Free People was sold out of most of their colors and this skirt is great. I haven’t washed it so I’m hoping it doesn’t shrink but very breathable. Stretchy waistband, true to size. I ordered a size down (small) because I wanted it to fit more snug. I am 5’4” and 145 pounds.
