These Mebaks have a tether and look just like Airpods. They just hang in an old guy’s earholes. Anybody can use ‘em because they don’t have that battery case behind the ear and two wires to fk with. Try all three earpads, I liked largest. A good fit = Wayyyyy better sound and less likely to drop out of your ear. I am grateful for these.     • I can hear my friends or ignore them if I wish!
These are really nice for what they are. They amplify sounds and make it easier to hear people, without having the say “say that again” a half dozen times. I like that they look like typical ear buds, so they are less embarrassing and obvious they are for sounds other than Bluetooth. I’ve found them to be super helpful as I struggle with hearing since having a double ruptured eardrum over 14 months ago. Extra bonus, these DO have Bluetooth connectivity. I’m not only able to hear people talking to me with these, but I’m also able to completely tune them out and listen to my music while peacefully hanging out haha! Best of both worlds. ... show more

    • It works fine for the price, but it's nothing special
These hearing aids are pretty solid for the price. They do their job, amplifying the surroundings of the room. They even contain some neat bells and whistles, including noise reduction. Plus, the design resembles airpods, which can be appealing to certain consumers, though I personally didn't find them comfortable enough to use for long periods of times. Unfortunately, the sound quality is not up to par with other products. Then you have the noise reduction, which is clearly working while you are using it, to the point where it can be distracting. I wore these over a three day period, in a variety of settings, and found that I couldn't get used to them at all. However, at this $300 price range, it's very hard to find a solid hearing aid that works this well, which makes it a bargain, especially if you do not plan on relying on it for extended periods of time. In that case, I suggest that you look for a hearing aid in the $500 price range, since you will find that there are many more solid offerings there. Other than that, this is a solid product for the price. While it most definitely didn't work very well for an experienced user like me, it might be more appealing to people who only need to use a hearing aid for a short period of time. ... show more

    • Decent hearing aid at an affordable price
The hearing aids have two functions: hearing aids with noise cancellation and earbuds. The hearing aid function works like an amplifier, but with noise cancellation, it can suppress background noise. The sound quality is really good. I used it as an earbud most of the time at home and during workouts. People thought I was wearing airpods. This hearing aid doesn't have a dedicated app, so you won't be able to optimize the setting with a hearing test. You will need to adjust the volume to adapt to a different environment. These looked like an excellent set of hearing amplifiers, since a relative doesn't want to be seen wearing hearing aids, and these look like AirPods. They look great and feel like a well made product. Unfortunately, their performance is not on par. When wearing them, I could not hear the dialogue coming from the TV mounted on the wall. Instead, I just heard things like the sound of the soles of my shoes rubbing against the ground and the buttons on the remote control being pressed.     • Decent , reasonably priced hearing amplifiers
I have tried numerous hearing amplifiers and these are decent , reasonably priced ones. They are white and look like regular air buds that many people wear today. So they do not look like you need actual hearing aids. I either like those that have an app that allows you to make alot of adjustments to both amplifiers or the touch type like these. In my opinion the touch type like these are easier in your ears to adjust the volume or mode than the ones with the actual buttons on them. These work straight out of the charging case. Put them on and place them in your ear or ears and they are on. No fumbling around. The 40 db max is pretty good for my needs and I only really need it for one ear. You can link this to your blue tooth on your phone as well and does not require an additional app. That works fine for a mid range amplifier between what you might get from a button on and off amplifier to a higher cost amplifier set with a dedicated app with multiple adjustments. So if you are looking for a simple to use, some control on your phone without having to add a separate app and touch adjustment amplifiers , this set works very good and in my opinion worth serious consideration. ... show more
