Does the job. Hard to clean. Meat gets in the crevices and you have to manually pick it out before putting in the dishwasher. I hand wash it now b4 sanitizing in the dishwasher.

I used one when I was at my Big brothers house because I couldn't find his potato masher. I knew it was for breaking up ground beef but I'm not much for following rules anyway. This thing worked so well for mashing potatoes that I had to get us one. Works better than a regular potato masher. Outlaw up and try it yourself.

If you cook ground beef or ground pork, this tool is a must have. It works much better than any other tool at smashing down the meat while browning. This is a well designed, heavy-duty tool that will last a lifetime. Definitely worth every cent!
