First off this was the second time I ordered from this company. My first order was purple charmeuse and the description was correct. It was silky, soft and had a beautiful drape...my 2nd order was suppose to be white charmeuse but sadly it wasn't even the same fabric...absolutely NO drape, way too crisp and felt like paper. In all honesty it reminded me of cheap costume satin...the worst I have ever seen. I received it today and will be sending back tomorrow!

This fabric is very beautiful. It's the exact color that I needed to make a dress. Everyone else in the previous reviews are complaining about the stiffness. I'm a seamstress/fashion designer. You have to wash this fabric before using with laundry detergent and fabric softener. As far as the fraying, I would say of you don't have a serger machine/overlook then you would have to burn the ends to keep from fraying. I have a serger so I'm fine. The price for 5yards is definitely AMAZING. I will definitely purchase in other colors and possible more yards as well for my other projects.
