Ok so you know the book where there’s a pair of pants that fits a group of friends of different shapes and sizes perfectly… these socks have such a nice stretch and are so soft and comfortable that they fit my 5, 6, and 10 year old and they all say these are their new favorite socks! I was so infuriated with having to match 100 pairs of different size and pattern socks and having 20 super hero socks but never finding the exact match or the cheap princess socks getting a hole in them so I throw one out but the surviving match somehow gets cycled through the laundry in every load for a year… Well that’s OVER! I’m tossing out every single sock my kids own and stocking up on only these and I probably am going to save an entire week of my life in sock sorting time!

I purchased a pack of these socks 2 years ago to take on a month long trip to Europe. I was told bamboo socks would dry faster, and our plan was sink washing and drying overnight. I don't know if they were faster drying than other socks, but they weren't particularly quick. It would take a full day to completely dry. However, I discovered in that month that I had found my new favorite sock. I walked over 12 miles on some of those days and did not blister. I have now used these socks for 2 years (yes, the same pairs!) These things are still so soft to the touch on the bottoms. The sole is thicker and slightly cushiony like an athletic sock, (I'd say low to mid grade athletic cushion thickness) but the top is a very loose weave elastic that lets heat escape. The toe seam is across the top of the toe (more women's style), not around the tips. I prefer this so it doesn't ever cramp your toe space. The ankle elastic keeps the sock in place, but doesn't constrict. I barely have any marks at all after a full day. The body of the sock has retained it's shape and still form fits my foot. No odd bunching or slipping around underfoot. The bamboo does help control odor. It is not an elimination, but it does reduce. It is a weird thing to be this enthusiastic about a sock, but I find myself digging through my drawer to pull these pairs out first, every time. After buying and returning at least 10 pairs of socks, from the least to the most expensive, this brand popped up. It looked good but so did the others. And it totally outdid the others! Medium light cushion on sole, just right stretch and fit, soft right out of the package so no need to wash these first. Right amount of snugness--no skin indentations. The inside is a tight weave with no loose yarns or pilling--just really well made. I am sensitive to all synthetic sox as they feel like fine sandpaper on my feet; the bamboo in these sox overrides the synthetics. Holds a good foot temp while sitting for long periods, and during a long run today. No hot, sweat soaked sox at all. I got the white, may want the black later in the fall. I hope this helps someone.
