There’s a protective film on both sides of the clear pane to prevent scratches. Easy to take off and much appreciated. Frame itself had no marks or blemishes, and perfectly frames your picture or poster. Clips on the back swivel and slide easily into place. Would recommend these to anyone I know.

I always appreciate when Amazon sellers package their picture frames nicely! This frame arrived in perfect condition, and was packaging in a sturdy box with styrofoam corner protectors and protective film on both sides of the plexiglass. I'm really picky when it comes to any scratches/defects, and there really were none, which is so rare! The frame was constructed perfectly, without any gaps or cracks in the engineered wood. The white woodgrain color is really nice, and the grain makes it look more expensive than it is. It looks great on my vector graphic art print! The metal attachments on the back of the frame are a little different from standard frames in that you need to twist them to take out the cardboard/print or to secure the cardboard/print into the frame, rather than lifting the metal pieces up or pressing them down. However, I think these metal turn buttons will last longer than the ones that you lift up/down. However, make sure that when you twist the metal turn buttons that they don't dig into the cardboard. That accidentally happened when I tried opening the back of my frame for the first time, but it only caused minor damage/scrapes in the back of the cardboard. It helps to press down on the cardboard whenever you twist the attachments to prevent scratching the cardboard and also to make it easier to twist the metal turn buttons. This frame comes with sawtooth hangers already installed which is a nice touch, but you will need to provide your own nails to hang it. The frame is also meant to be hung on a wall, so there is no table top frame stand in the back. The plexiglass does have some glare, but that is expected considering it is plexiglass and not real glass with anti-glare coating. It doesn't bother me though. Overall, this is an excellent, quality picture frame, and I would highly recommend this product for all of your 12x18 poster-hanging needs!! ... show more

Purchased these after I realized I went a little too cheap with my initial poster frame purchase. These frames look great, especially for the price point. The “glass” panel of course is not glass, but that’s to be expected at this price point. Still is an affordable option that helps my space look nice and put together! Also, the clasps in the back make repositioning prints so easy, unlike with the weird poster frame I had in the first picture. No gaps at the corners, either! ... show more

This is a relatively inexpensive easy to use picture frame. It is probably not super durable. The "window" is not glass, but is a type of transparent plastic. It has the advantage of light weight and avoids the risk of broken glass, in case of an accident. How durable, long lasting, useful over time remains to be seen. The painting looks great in this frame. I had to leave out the plexiglass because the oil painting was too thick to fit with it, but I wasn't going to use it anyway. Great buy for the price!
