Let me preface this review by saying I bought a used one from this product page. Regardless, this listing states this one shell will fit 9300, 9310, AND 9315. I have a 9315. This shell does NOT fit. In my pictures, you'll see that while the snaps on the bottom shell are secure, the actual shell is "loose." It doesn't follow the actual contour of the 9315. The top shell's top snaps refuse to secure on the bottom corners of the top shelf suffer the same fit issues as the bottom shell. An earlier version of this product wouldn't allow you to open your screen being 90 degrees without the case pooping off. I received the "-21" batch where this was fixed. My car may not have popped off beyond 90 degrees, but I couldn't get my case secure in the first place. The vent cutouts also do not line up on the bottom shell. I ordered a brand new one and will return the used one in hopes that I received a bad piece. I will update my review after I receive the new one. UPDATE: the brand new replacement ending up being wise in some areas and better in others. Bottom shell: still blocks airflow vents entirely, covers hinges which prevent the computer from opening over 90°, but did fit the corners better. Top shell: fit better, but would be pried off by the bottom shell's hinge covers when opening beyond 90°. I'm so incredibly disappointed with this design. I have loved iPearl cases in the past, but this is a complete failure. ... show more

As someone who tends to be fairly clumsy, and also despises the silver color of my laptop, this case is absolutely perfect. The case itself isn't too bulky but it definitely protects the laptop. While it does cover some of the fans, I've never had to take the case off because of overheating, even when running demanding programs or games for hours on end. The case stays on very well and doesn't get in the way when typing. It even helps me open the laptop by giving me a ridge to hold onto. The stand is also a nice touch. This case is definitely worth the money and I'd recommend it to anyone who takes their laptop everywhere. I carry this thing across campus nearly every day and I've yet to damage my laptop because of it. What I received was a Beautifully designed and crafted cover that fits my laptop perfectly. Couldn’t ask for a better cover.
