I thought caramel would be a light brown. I suppose it is but there were strong yellow hues that made it appear more yellow on me than brown. I would have labelled this color butterscotch. This eyeshadow stick is a fast way to put on a bit of color onto my lids. It applies smoothly and dries down matte. The caramel color is a warm light brown. I usually go for cooler colors but wanted to try something different. It looks neutral on my skin tone with a warm tone. I like to use it as a shadow primer. It acts as a good base for layering eyeshadow on top. The stain power is pretty good and I don’t see a lot of creasing at the end of the day. This is a very creamy eyeshadow stick that is very pigmented when I first apply, but once I smeared it with my fingers, it fades away leaving a very light color behind which is almost barely noticeable. This is a very good color if you're looking for a very natural shadow, but it is a bit too light for me to use for my eyes.
