Just turn the end of the tool with a wrench to pull the bearing out. Comes with directions on how to use the tool. Made from high quality 1045 Steel, not a casting.
• GIMBAL BEARING INSTALLER: Compatible with OMC Cobras, Bravos, #1 Drives made from 1966 to Current makes, including the Pre Alpha (R), Alpha 1 MR and Generation 2. You will need the Outdrive Coupler Alignment Tool to use this tool. Note: This requires a hole drilled in your alignment tool. We cannot pre-drill these as different manufacturers make the mounts in different places. The tool comes with directions on where to drill the hole in the alignment tool for correct lineup. Tool comes with black oxide finish preventing corrosion to assure many years of service.
