I was having trouble with my short chipping game in the late summer when the fairway grass in front of the greens got too thin. Used my chipper for the first time today. Got up and down for par both times I used it. I can see I’m going to be a more consistent chipper with this club. I normally use. 60 degree wedge and either open the face up or close it down depending on the shot but I’ve become less consistent in my old age. I can see getting on the green quicker and letting it roll out is going to lower my scores. Great price. Had a nice weight in the head and good alignment lines. So far so good. ... show more

Used it for the first time yesterday and I loved it. I seldom hit the green in two. As a result my third shot is usually about 20 years from the green. From that range I can’t control my loft clubs very well. I’ve been using a Texas Chipper for a few years, but recently I had not been getting adequate loft. To compensate I began hitting it harder which too often resulted in overshooting the green. This 45 degree chipper was perfect yesterday. I never thought I find a club so well suited for a bump and run. Ever have that shot you want to pop over 5 to 20 feet of rough and run out a long green? This does it.
