  • Easy to swing and very forgiving
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A12 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
5/5 great feel, cozy amount of flex and forgiving face size. I’m a beginner averaging 220-230 with this and it feels very forgiving.

  • Quality driver, good price.
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A14 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
This is a great quality driver with an aluminum alloy head with a 460cc face and 10.5° angle. Has a 45.5" shaft with a very nice grip. This weighs 320 grams so and it is very lightweight. Comes with a very nice sheath as well. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

  • So far it's looking good
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A12 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
I was finally able to take this Mazel driver out onto the course, and so far I am pleased. Just taking practice swings, it feels very nice. Good weight distribution and feel in the hands, although the grip itself might seem just average. I am exploring other drivers since my existing driver, a Ping G25 that I have used for years, has a rattling sound in the clubhead, and may be on its way out. With this in mind, I would say that the Mazel is quite comparable to my Ping in a lot of respects, and so it felt almost familiar while using it. The club head design is very similar (though a tad smaller) as well as the club length and look and feel. As far as distance is concerned, so far this seems to be on par with what I had been achieving with my Ping, though admittedly my sample size is small after just one round. I have kept track of many of my drive distances over the years (over 250 of them), and I usually hit anywhere between 220 and 260, with 240 being around my average. In my last round with the Mazel, my recorded shot distances with it were generally around my average. It was my first round in over 6 months, though, so I think I was rusty. I think with time I could push my drives over 250. I will add here that my drives did not appear to slice as much using the Mazel as they had with my old Ping. When I try to swing hard, I naturally tend to slice the ball. My drives with the Mazel weren't always perfect, and they did still tend to go left-right, but no major shanks. This is a good sign, and hopefully it means that the club head design reduces this. At the end of the day, I realize this is a budget club. I'm not expecting any tour-caliber performance here. However, for the price, it seems to be pretty good value. ... show more

  • Affordable driver that performs better than expected
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A12 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
I picked up this driver after trying a few other clubs from the same brand and it has quickly become my main option off the tee. For the price it feels approachable for newer players while still being fun and effective for more experienced golfers. I have taken it to the range several times and also tested it on indoor simulators. It has held up very well through repeated sessions. The club head feels solid and stable through the swing and I have been getting consistent contact. On good strikes I have seen drives pushing past the 260 yard mark which has been impressive considering the cost. The head size inspires confidence and makes it easier to control direction especially on off center hits. It feels forgiving without being bulky and the balance during the swing feels natural. Adjusting to it did not take long and it quickly became the first club I reach for when teeing up. One thing that surprised me was how much interest it sparked from other golfers. My brother who plays a higher end branded set actually asked to buy this club from me after trying it because he liked how it performed. That says a lot considering what he usually plays with. The included head cover is a nice addition and is well padded with a soft lining inside. It protects the club well though I may eventually swap it out since I prefer a simpler look in my bag. Still it does its job and feels well made. This driver has been a lot of fun to use and has performed reliably session after session. For anyone looking for a cost effective driver that delivers solid distance and good control this driver is worth checking out. ... show more

  • An adequate driver, but it does not outdrive my 1990s era go-to driver.
Hand Orientation: Right Shaft Material: Graphite (A14 Head) Flex: Regular Loft: 10.5 Degrees
Over the past few years, my son has been getting me back into the game of golf. My clubs, including my driver, date back to the 1990s. It's a good set, but who can't always use a newer, better driver. It was with this idea in mind that I requested this club to review. My go-to driver for many years is a nice, though now dated, Head driver. It was my benchmark for rating this new driver. OK, here we go: 1) I really like the way the Mazel driver feels in my hands. It is well-balanced, and I like the standard flex in the shaft. This is better than a stiff shaft for me, since I've never been a power hitter. 2) I like the grip. 3) I like the look. 4) I don't care for the design of the head, mainly the shape of the base of the head. The Mazel driver head is significantly convex, while I prefer a flatter base. The Mazel marketing information claims a larger sweet spot with this design, but it didn't FEEL this way to me. OK, but what about performance? The bottom line here is that this new Mazel driver does not outdrive my 1990s-vintage Head driver. In fact, on most of my well-hit drives, the Mazel came in around 10 yards shorter than drives with the Head. In short, this is an adequate driver, but not a great one. And it did not make all my driver-related dreams come true, or really any of them. I do not plan to add this club to my bag. 3 stars for an adequate product. ... show more
