Excellent medical table
This has been fantastic for my sterile dressing changes. It is the table that I use for my sterile items. It is perfect easy to assemble. Good quality. I absolutely recommend.

This Stand is a Great Assist When Painting Art
When I am painting art, I usually go back and forth working on more than one art project at once and moving where my creative spirit leads me. That is why I ordered this tray because it frees my hands of having to hold an art palette. I can place my paints and brushes that I am working with at the time on the tray while moving about on my chair. Having this tray makes painting less cumbersome and more freeing. What got me interested in using this tray as a method to paint was when I saw another artist that I know who used a similar tray. She told me how convenient it was and how it had helped her when painting and she was right, the tray is a game changer. I did compare this tray to others on the market for value, price, and quality. In comparison to other trays, this tray made it a leading candidate to experiment with primarily because of its quality and stainless-steel materials. I wanted a tray similar to ones that I see at medical offices and salons, and not a cheap tray made of plastic components because it costs a bit less. Overall, the tray is a good tool to have. I was not sure if I was going to care for the fact that the tray was not permanently attached, but I find that it is helpful when cleaning up. Regardless, it still sits secure, glides with ease, and most importantly meets my artistic needs. ... show more

Good cart, 5 legs for stability. Stainless tray.
I got this to use in the garage, not for garage surgeries but as an adjustable height tool cart. The tray is stainless and that's perfect for keeping tools with magnets (like all the flashlights) from sticking to it when you pick them up. It's smooth so it'll be easy to clean. The basket the tray sits in is not stainless and magnets could be strategically used there. The telescoping pole is stainless... I like the cart, the height is great for standing jobs. It took less than 10 minutes to assemble: the 5 wheels press in and lube is included to make them easier to install. There are two different sizes bolts on the telescoping pole ends. An adjustable wrench handled the task fine. Carefull with the bottom attach point, it looks like it's plastic and over tightening it could maybe break it. I got it snug and there is no rocking or looseness. ... show more

A good start, ruined by lousy instructions and AWFUL casters
This should be a straightforward item to assemble and to use. The instructions, however, are a disaster. First of all, at some point, the manufacturer revised their instructions, which is fine…except my item included the old sheet and the new sheet (which are nearly identical). That wasn’t confidence-inspiring. The biggest change was that somewhere along the way, they realized that the casters don’t just “pop into” the legs of the base, and now include a tiny bottle of lubricant (more on this in a sec). The single bolts/screws (and yes, it’s literally just one that goes up under the base to hold the main pole, and one that holds the tray frame to the pole extension) come threaded into the poles, which is fine. But the instructions are unreasonably vague, and the diagrams are fairly useless unless you zoom into it at about 10x magnification. They say “Unscrew the hardware at the top of the Adjustment Rod and use it to attach the Adjustment Rod to the Tray Frame,” without clarifying where to put the flat washer and the lock washer. (TIP: put the lock washer onto the bolt, THEN put the flat washer onto the bolt, THEN push the bolt up into the base or down into the tray frame.) Also, be aware that the instructions say “An adjustable wrench and/or ratchet is needed for this assembly.” Don’t skip this: the stand will be an unstable, wobbly mess without tightening everything appropriately. (Also, if you’re including a small tube of lubricant – which, by the way, must have the tip of the spout cut with a sharp knife or scissors in order to use…be careful! – you can include a little hex wrench, like, y’know, almost every other assemble-it-at-home product does…) The tray fits nicely into the tray frame, though even with a wrench-tightening, the fact that it’s held on with just a single screw/bolt instead of two (which would have been easy enough to manufacture) makes the frame feel a bit unstable. The hand-tightened/loosened knob for height adjustment functions well. Finish was nice and shiny, though the base had mars and surface scratches on it, with some of the chrome-looking finish chipped/flaked off. Nothing that’s going to be a hugely noticeable issue, however. The biggest issue is the casters/wheels. They are AWFUL. I cannot state this powerfully enough: AWFUL. They’re lousy plastic, and some of the ones I received have rough seams and/or edges that make me certain they’ll scratch my wood floor. After wrestling to get them into the base (the lubricant was helpful, but shouldn’t be necessary!), I wrestled even harder to remove them. Because of this, I can’t roll it around. I have a felt pad/slider under each leg now, so I can drag it around, but that’s not nearly as smooth as reliable rolling action would be. The most insulting thing about this is that the manufacturer includes a Customer Service phone number and asks you to call if you have any questions. I’ve done that and left messages – twice – and have gotten no response. If Houseables would improve the casters (the nice rubber “in-line skate” ones would be ideal!), fix the assembly instructions, and include a tool for the bolt-tightening, this could be a 4-star or 5-star item. But as it is now, I have a stand that I can’t roll around, and which was frustrating to put together. I’ll update this review with any new developments. In the meantime, thanks for reading; I hope that my review helps you out! ... show more

Perfect tattooing tray
Good steel tray for tattooing. Assembly was pretty easy - all these things go together basically the same. Wheels roll smooth. I love that the tray lifts out and does not have rivets in it! That is super handy. It height adjusts, and does exactly what you'd expect a rolling medical tray to do! Definitely a good quality tray for tattooing and whatnot. ... show more

Top quality where it counts
The structural parts are stiff and strong. Thick stainless steel, good welds. The attachment screws are strong and protected by lock washers, so they can be tightened but do not need to be overtightened. The casters have a sharp edge and could be replaced by better casters, which can be easily bought on Amazon with some of the money you save with the cheap price of this excellent table. The usual throwaway tools are not included with this kit. I used my 3/8" ratchet and set of sockets, and some lubricant I already have open, saving the provided lubricant for later use. A crescent wrench would be good enough in place of the sockets, although you might want a larger one for the bottom and a smaller one at the top, as the nuts are considerably different size. I think I used 17mm and 10mm sockets. ... show more

Sturdy, but annoying assembly. Mine isn't level and one of the casters was finicky to install.
I won't claim to know anything about the rolling tool tray market, but near-$80 seems high to me. That said, it arrived within a week, was packaged well, and has bubble wrap to prevent it from scratching itself. (Despite that, mine has some scratches already-present on the base of the stand. Can't see them except during assembly, so no big deal.) Materials are strong and the cart is stable once assembled. Assembly was a pain; expect to use tools. 5-10min assembly. One of the casters needed the retention ring pressed/crushed for it to fit into the stand base. The other four wheels were fine, with only one really *needing* the included oil to insert it. I did use a small rubber mallet to fully seat the casters. I could not get mine level. Good enough for regular work, but it's leaning enough to max out my plain bubble level. Screws or some tools might roll when placed in the tray. Unless I needed the full height extension or removable tray, I would be hard-pressed to justify spending full price on it. That said, during use, it seems to be high quality. Perhaps cheaper alternatives would be unstable or not extend as tall. 4/5 rating IMO. If it were properly level and I didn't need to put the casters in myself, I could say 5/5 at this price. ... show more
