I have a 1995 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am, which has two 4x6 flip up headlights. From the factory, the H4666 sealed beam headlights weren't very good, so I've upgraded them a few times. The first time, I went with hotter halogens which helped. In the 2000's I went to an aftermarket housing that took an H4 bulb. That was much better. Last year I upgraded to LED light, but they were the kind that were just an array of many small LEDs. While the looked bright against the wall, the real illumination wasn't good and people kept flashing their high beams at me even though I wasn't using high beams. These MAYELLO light assemblies seem to be a definite upgrade to that other style of LED lamp. I really like the look of these lights, with the black background, but with flip up headlights, it will rarely be seen on my car, as the lights are on if they are flipped up. I already had H4 adapters on my car, due to the previous installations, so installation was easy for me. I did not use the driving light or turn signal functions, since they are flip up headlights, so I heat shrinked the unused wires. The physical size of the headlights was perfect and they bolted easily into place. These MAYELLO lights are well constructed, with a heavy metal back. I took some comparison pictures showing the better light output of these, versus the other style LED headlights (one of each installed). After installing both new ones, I also took pictures showing both low and high beams of these new lights. All in all, I'm impressed with the light pattern of these assemblies, and they will be much better to drive with than my older LED lights. ... show more

Installed these on an older International, install was straight forward and oh what a difference they make compared to incandescent, plus they are led so are pulling less power from the engine. Hope they last. Update; not 24 hrs later, two of the lights simply stopped working.
