I am a makeup artist and self-proclaimed beauty guru. haha! That being said...I love these lip crayons! They perform with pro quality. They are SO easy to apply, have some fantastic color options, are matte without feeling overly dry or accentuating lines on lips, and the little sharpener attached to the bottom is fantastic and so handy! Since it has the sharpener and you can always easily keep it sharp, it's great as both your lip liner and lip color. I own three color so far but I want these in all the colors! I Included a before and after photo of myself and in the after photo, I am wearing the shade “trust your gut.” I also included pictures of the built-in sharpener and how the lip crayon looked before and after sharpening it. Sharpening it can be a little messy so I just make sure I do it over a trashcan and typically wipe up the sharpener with a tissue or napkin after. Longevity: These stay on pretty decent for me. They last hours upon hours only needing a touch up maybe after eating a meal. I am a lip balm junkie so sometimes I do have to put a little lip balm on on top of the color maybe mid-way through the day just because my lips like that extra moisture. The color does well even with that but maybe is easier to wipe off a little more than normal. Smudge-proof: These are pretty smudge-proof. I get a minimal amount of transfer like on my coffee cup or water bottle only right after I apply it. Once it's been on for a while I don't see any transfer at all. They seem to be great for giving my hubby a kiss too! They have never transferred onto his lips with a peck hello or goodbye. Packaging: Lid clicks on and stays on great. Ok i am in LOVE with this "ink" crayon Lipstick. It glides on very smoothely. It sets rather fast, and as long as you dont eat or drink or kiss for at least 5 mins after application it will lock in and stay for hours and hours, throught eating and kissing, whatever! Does not smudge or leave traces once set. Compared to other long lasting lip products, it is not drying either. Bonus, it holds up well when left in the car in the florida heat. Overall, 100% my favorite lip product, i wear it every day now! Its so fast and easy to apply, and look awesome all day. SHADES: Finding the eight shade took some trial and error, as i am a very fair redhead. Ive tried several. Results below. My very favorite color is "Keep it Fun", which is the perfect rosey shade (you can see me wearing with the black top in the good lighting, as well as the selfie with the red shirt.) "Peice of cake" is my 2nd favorite, simply because it was such a soft almost neutral shade. Hard to tell in the pic (the closest close up one) but it is a pink nude with specks of copper sparkle in it. I would NOT describe it as shimmery as the glitter is not throughout but rather sparse flecks. Id prefer nore sparkle or none but its still nice. This one does have a scent by the eay, like vanilla, very light and pleasant. "Lead the way" was too bold for me, against my skin it was bordering on being a red. (Seen in selfie pic with pale nightgown and my tardis phone in my hand.) "Stay exceptional" was WAY darker than i expected it has brown tones, i hated it. Really like the color, it works well for me. It is ok on the moisturizing issue, it's not promoted as a moisturizing lipstick. I would say it's normal on that scale. I find the thickness of the pencil a bit difficult to control but started using a brush and that solved the problem. I'm not someone that uses a lot of makeup so others may not have a problem with thickness. I have purchased this product more than once. I would recommend it. ... show more
