In my quest to find the perfect lipstick that doesn’t fade or smudge or disappear if I drink something or brush my teeth or eat a bite of something. This lip stain does NOT fade or wipe off or disappear for hours and hours! It’s completely smudge resistant!! Not only does this lipstick stay on for a true 24 hours. It also comes with its own glossy moisturizer that helps seal the color and moisturizes your lips. I woke up this morning and what a nice surprise that this lipstick is still on my lips! It stayed on even after I washed my face with soap and water! All I had to do to do is reapply the moisturizer and I’m all set!! I should mention here that if you need to get it off all you need to do is rub some Vaseline on your lips and wipe off, do this 3-4 times and your lips are free. This is an amazing lipstick and it comes in tons of colors! Now, I just had to find the perfect color for my complexion. That was another hurtle. I have literally tried 9 different colors of this line before I found THE ONE! I’m olive complected , tan easily but am quite pale in the wintertime and I needed rose-ish, mauve-ish, plum-ish color, that doesn’t wash out my skin tone like the reds do, and I needed a color to complement my rosy cheeks and not make my lips pale like the pinks do. Sounds crazy, I know! But I was determined to find the perfect color for me in this Maybelline line. And here it is: TIMELESS ROSE! It’s vibrant but not dark. It’s subtle but not pale. It’s a nice light rose color that has some shine and it complements my skin beautifully My now favorite line and favorite color! I’m in love!!

This lipstick impressed me! It’s not sticky at all, goes on smoothly, and has great stain resistance. The color payoff is rich and highly pigmented, and it lasts for hours without fading. The color is subtle and does not stand out awkwardly, but of course that depends on your own skin tone (my own skin tone is medium as I am Chinese). It almost matches my lip color yet gives the lip a more healthy and vibrant color. After applying, I use tissue paper to dab on my lips to remove the excess. When the lip balm is almost dry, I apply the ultra conditioning balm and my lips feel very moisturized . It stays all day long on the lips and does not smudge despite lunch and dinner. Texture is quite smooth. I apply the conditioning balm periodically to keep the lips moisturized and shining all day long, so it lasts quite long on my lips. At the end of the day, I use Vaseline ointment to remove it. The only downside is that there is not very much lipstick in the container and gets used up quite quickly.

This particular color is as close as I could get to something orange, and it is beautiful. I love the Super Stay 24 and have about 8 colors. It truly is long-lasting, even through a meal. Requires oil-based cosmetic remover to fully eliminate the color from lips. Highly recommend it.

The best drugstore long lasting lipstick! I have Maybelline super stay in two shades and haven’t been disappointed yet. Love the colors. It doesn’t take much product to get good coverage. The second step is a must to prevent dryness and I like to keep it on hand to reapply or another clear gloss. The color doesn’t need to be reapplied though and will last through and entire date night.
