I don’t think anyone likes the look of caked on make up or uneven coverage. And as someone with very pale colored skin, finding a shade of makeup light enough that doesn’t oxidize into a darker or pinker color has ALWAYS been a problem for me. Also, with combination skin, I use powders to limit the shine, but would then find my make up creasing in corners. Not with this powder. This compact offers a light to medium coverage when used alone on clean skin. And then it can be gently patted and pressed onto areas that need more coverage. The result is light and breathable with a poreless matte finish. It seems to melt into the skin rather than settling into fine lines and creases. And my face still feels touchable soft. I’m still figuring this product out. I think the problem is my skins a little too light so I’m gonna self tan. You definitely have to play with it a little bit. I tried it with a wet sponge, which makes it look better. I did buy a primer to use with this, but I’m not sure remember if it worked well. I have to try it again. You definitely have to play with it. I really got it to try on those hot days in Florida because it gets so hot here at times and you don’t use a lot of make up, I’m gonna try it with just a moisturizer or my watermelon gel and see if that works better. But I believe putting it on with a damn sponge. Then I tried it with a dry brush. It worked a lot better. I noticed I think next time I’ll try shade lighter if I’m not gonna tan. ... show more

I have very red complexion due to health reasons. I typically wear a full coverage foundation that can look thick and un-natural , I saw a tik tok of this product and was skeptical that it can cover that well. I am truly amazed now I can wear a light powder foundation which takes me seconds to put on and if I need a touchup throughout the day I can. I came from using Arbonnes full coverage powder and that stuff will cover a dang tattoo with minimal layering, super good stuff so I think my bar was set a bit too high but of course Arbonne is expensive and it should/does outperform in that way so you get what you pay for and this powder is an ok alternative for the price point but I’ll prob keep looking to see if there’s anything else out there I like better. **SN-While researching this one though I did read that a lot of ppl prefer the old package product over this new one, supposedly the coverage and overall performance was better.
